Neither of us ever eat breakfast at home ( I know, I know) but when we bike, we always start the day out with a large meal. During our trip this summer, it didn't take us long to find the place with the most vehicles parked out front. Your right....it's usually the best place and most reasonably priced to eat. We also found that the night before, we hit the local pub to find out where the best place for a meal was. Can't beat a big meal of "biscuts & gravy" to start the day out right!

Crap, I don't even want to ask....what does it do to the windshield? I use a commercial window cleaner made by Rubbermaid that we get at Menards,......but I don't have a clue if it has ammonia in it.

Didn't wash the bike the whole time we were gone... Needless to say it had layers of bug splatter on it. We've washed and washed the thing, but I there is still some area's on the paint that just don't want to come clean. What would be the easiest product to use to get rid of it? Thanks Deb:think:

:crackup: Boomer, Got tell you a quick one....when I was 9, our grass runway strip next to the cornfield was under water after a heavy rain. My grandpa Torg landed his Cessna on our highway out in front of our house. He taxied up our gravel driveway. I happen to be out playing in our front yard and about croaked when I saw him pull up! This is the same man who didn't believe in air control towers and the Minneapolis airport banned him from ever landing there again after he just "put her down" on the taxi strip. It's also the same man who started parachuting at the age of 75!

We took 14 days, because we weren't used to mountains and we wanted to take our time and enjoy it. Funny thing was, when we came to our exit for home, we both said at the same time ..."Should we just keep going...." It's the longest trip we've ever taken. I would do the same trip over again in a heartbeat, because there was so much beauty, we know we missed a lot! I will never forget the Canadian Rockies. -
:banana:Pretty Spiffy!!!!!

I took 249 pix but had to have Don help me because I had a hard time posting the 5 pix. He had to make them smaller and I don't know how to do it. Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, Lake Morraine, Jasper Parkway...Heulet Wy Montana....it was all so beautiful...I couldn't belive how pretty the pix turned out. From a country gal that is surrounded by soybean and corn fields, you can't even describe the beauty. There just aren't words... -
Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, British Columbia, and Alberta....amazing scenery every day!! Glacier/Road to the Rising Sun Banff and Jasper But the scariest ride of all.....Beartooth Pass from Cooke City Montana to Red Lodge Montana!! We were higher than the clouds! You can't tell it on the map, but this one's crazy!!! And grizzly country to boot! Here's a few pix but they don't do the beauty justice....And to all the Canuk's....thanks for the wonderful hospitality your country hands out! Gary and I will never forget this trip!!

Just saw your post. We live about 15 miles from the I-35 and I-90 exchange at Albert Lea Minnesota. You are more than welcome to come and stay the night with us. Don't know what day you will be coming through....but it's about 8 hours from here to Sturgis. We'd love to have you!

Once again, we've more than made up for our membership fee. Someone on here posted a thread a couple of weeks ago about inserting your headset ear peices actually into the side of the helmet. Told the hubby about it last night and he just called. He just did the retrofit and said it worked great....don't even know they are in there. We take off for a 5k trip in a couple of days and all I could think about was how much my ears were going to hurt as our helmets fit perfect without the earpiece, but tight with them in. Now, thanks to the post, we'll both be comfy!! Tried to find the post, but couldn't so whoever started it thanks!!!!

Well.....that must have taken quite a lot of practice, as we all know men have a hard time of "multi tasking"!! :rotfl:
