    Got to take my first ride last night since last October !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dancefool::dancefool:Good news is my Virago started right up without even choking it. Bad news is hubby has to put a new battery in the Venture..........Felt bad leaving him at home but.....................jeez it felt great:banana::banana:

    Just wanted to clear up something I misunderstood. Told the hubby last night about the ferry, so of course we started planning a trip to Niagra Falls. (On the bucket list, and thought we could save some $$$ and a ton of miles) Anyhooooooooooo.....jumped on the Ferry Website and plunked in the info for reservations in September. It came back with a cost of $191.00 for 2 passengers. I called the phone # and it's the "motorcyle" that is free, but the passengers still pay. (Cost of bike would be $48.00) So, thought if anyone else jumped to the same conclusion I did....just thought you should know. Still a big savings...

    Looks good!! Now Jan can write her "honey do" list for you while your on the road!!!! Our "pouches" came from Walmart. I think the cost was $5.00 a piece. Gary's is blue, mine is black, his is on the left side of the trunk, mine always on the right. It holds sunscreen, sunglasses, chap stick, cell phone, etc. (all those little things that can get lost easily, but you need to have handy)The nice thing about them is they don't take up much trunk room, but yet hold a lot!!

    Squid, Just got back home after being gone a week...and it was great to read the good news!!! Congrat's to u guys and a big hug to Ponch!!!! He's a great guy!!!

    The hubby and I havethe cheapest, smallest 2 man tent at Wallyworld. Cost around $20.00 and has held together for over 5 years. Keeps us dry, packs up small, and is really lightweight.

    Keep em on!!!! It's so much easier for oncoming traffic to see you!! Just had the hubby put Venture passing lamps on my Virago and I already know I'll feel safer with them.....that is when our 6 feet of snow melts and I finally get to take her out for a spin!!

    Well........I've decided you can't getter much better than the family on this site!!! Came back to work this morning and had to PM's about the deflectors. Responded to them before I came back to my thread. Tom, Thank you for the offer, and to everyone else with their suggestions!! Ruffy is sending me a set and if they don't fit the Virago, Squid has a set that he's willing to part with. Once again, you don't know how much this family means to me. I wish you were all my next door neighbors cuz you don't know how much it means that people just jump right into help...... Thanks again, Deb

    front fork deflectors they would want to part with for a reasonable price? We have the brackets, I just need the plexiglass parts. The hubby is going to put them on my Virago.

    That was me. I was out test riding a new bike the other day! Actually, at 21 degrees out,....it was kind of balmy! Didn't like it as well as my Virago...so I took it back to the dealer.
