Balltown......buggers we're too far north. We've only hit it once this yr... we'll catch up with you at Soldiers Grove! We're riding with the boys over there this weekend for a quick trip. Hey Bryan, have you guys ever hit www.newdiggs.com? It's a trip....that's all I'm gonna say.......and it's worth it!

Looks great! Hubby and I haul the tent, airmattress, camp chairs, etc and it gets to be a load. Wish we were closer!!!

Just want to say thanks to everyone who is posting. My heart goes out to Wild Hair and I hope that he is enjoying the light hearted humor. Laughter is the best medicine and I know he's getting a chuckle out of the responses.

To tell you the truth.....I've been thinking about you this past week. You hadn't posted anything about your health, so I was praying things were going well. You and I both know melanoma is nothing to ignore. I hope that anytime you feel something happening, you get to the doctor asap. I'm so sorry for what you had to go through these past few days. I don't want to sound like a mother hen, and I know how important Venture Riders is to you, but there is no reason for you to be "making changes" to the site when you are in pain like that. Please take care of yourself first. Everyone here will understand if things don't get updated or changed. Not only for your sake, but for your wifes. Some things are more important than others and your health should be number 1 right now. Ok, I'm done scolding.

Found this pix in Condor's thread...and it's a great one. You've got Wild Hair on the left and Black Owl on the right. The hubby and I were lucky enough to be on this trip with these two "old farts" :bighug:last summer out at the Cody Roundup. When I saw this picture....all I could do was giggle. The hubby and I rode to Duluth for the Tall Ships Festival this weekend. We camped at the Buffalo House campground south of town. As we were pulling out yesterday, we spotted a 2nd gen Venture that was camped out. Was that anyone here?

Chief Joseph is a must also! It's completely different than Beartooth. You'll be glad you did it. If you end up staying near Red Lodge, MT, while running the Beartooth, the hubby and I stayed here. www.AlpineRedLodge.com We stayed in one of their cabins, and the next morning, guests of the motel and cabins are treated to an outside "flapjack" breakfast. I can't remember the name of the guy cooking, but he's a retired policeman from Minneapolis, MN. We would stay there again in a heart beat!

Have a great time! I bought my oldest son and his wife tickets for the airshow for his birthday. He was tickled pink to get them! They are heading up tomorrow through Sunday. He's close to getting his pilots license.
