  1. I went to the hardware store and got another ball bearing. I put the plug back in along with the screw and a fired it up. It started leaking again. I am out of knowledge on what to do next.
  2. Thanks for the information. I will go to the hardware store tomorrow.
  3. My drain cock assembly was leaking. I took the plug out and found that the O-ring was missing. I figured that was the problem. I ordered a O-ring from the local Yamaha dealership and I picked it up today. I got all off the pieces together and found that I am missing that little tiny ball that sits on top of the spring. Are there places that might have them? If so, what size is that little ball? Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Todd
  4. Hello Squidley, I had a similar problem with my 87. I found a used TCI Box that works great. You might want to check out a place called Slicks Great Lakes Salvage. This is where I got my used box from and it has been working great ever since. Maybe I got lucky but that place a good supply of parts. The address is 519 Mason St, Mason, MI 48854. I hope this info helped. Todd
