Beth and I will be going to Freebird's maintenance day next month. We live in the Windsor, Ontario area, and will be leaving on Friday morning June 5th. So....is there anyone else heading down that way at the same time that would like to hook up and ride together? Anyone from further away that needs a place to crash for a night and then head out with us the next morning? We have 3 spare bedrooms(empty nesters). If anyone is interested in either or, either e-mail me or post it here, and we can make arrangements accordingly. We did leave it rather late, and have to book a room probably in Amherst, funny, because we live in Amherstburg. We are going wide open at work, and I wasn't sure if I could get vacation time or even a day off to attend maintenance day. Yes, the salt industry is going great guns....keep that global warming coming!!! randy:think: gunkylump@hotmail.com

I've been taking ColdFX daily for the last two winters.....it's an immune booster that works really well for me. No colds, no pneumonia....which is really amazing for me. It might be too late now that you're into a full blown cold, but it will help alleviate some of your symptoms in an orderly fashion. Good luck with it...and then, there is always......... BUCKLEY'S!! Tastes so horrible it would turn a dog from a gutwagon....but it works! randy:stirthepot:

I have a stebel mounted on my 04....I purchased a new mounting bracket from Carbon One, and it mounted in the original horn site. Just ran the new wiring, and presto....one bona fide I've got your attention now horn instead of that wimpy OEM tweety horn. Best piece of safety chrome out there. randy:happy65:

Beth and I have the ShowChrome shorty...it is wider and shorter than stock, she says it is windier for her, compared to the yammi stock shield.....I like the look, being able to look over it in the rain....... randy

My youngest son is working for a construction company up in Wawa, ON.....they are snowblowing the roads to widen them with an oversized blower.....rather huge actually. Two weeks ago, it was -40 without the wind chill, with the wind chill, -65......so.....it really isn't all that bad down this way, comparatively speaking. They had to suspend operations, too cold, the blower was breaking down due to the cold. That's earning your money in my mind! randy

It's snowing here...big time snow...almost snowmageddon.....and I slept, then ma nature decided for me I couldn't attend the Michigan M/E, then I slept some more....and some more, and then went to bed. See what the difference is between sleeping and toying with the bike?? GREAT IDEA, and looks great as well. When does mass production start, I'll be the first to order! randy

Red Rider: I would greatly appreciate the use of this dvd for a short viewing period when you have completed your viewing. My wife is about to start riding her own bike, and I feel that this will greatly assist her in her venture. Thanks Randy

Gary: I am on graveyard shift this week, if you would like to get together for a coffee and chat sometime, let me know....the keys are in the bike, can be gone in a minute. My condolences to you and yours Gary....I am at a loss to say anymore. randy

Gary: I am on afternoon shift this week.....the bike nights have started here in the A'burg, but it's a "rough" kind of crowd, at least in my opinion, that hang out at Shooters. Way too much alcohol + bikes+trouble, I stay away from there. Ramblingman, that would be Bruce? randy

Thanks to all for the input.... Hey Gary, I'd like to see the set up that you have.....perhaps if the weather is ok on Sunday we could hook up somewhere? I'm going to go to the RED BULL Air races this weekend in Windsor...so Saturday is kind of tied up. randy

I plan on purchasing a set of headsets this year....I use a half helmet. Which headset seems to be the best quality and reliable? Thanks for your input. randy

It's awesome, I'm glad that Santa brought me mine. It looks great both during the day and night time, but of course night time is best. Easy install, great instructions, really adds to the bike overall. Would I do it again? Wouldn't hesitate!! randy
