I have cut and pasted this info from a recent post....I followed these instructions and it worked....best of luck. "Freebird told us how to turn it off. Go to Settings at the top of the page and then scroll down and select General Settings. Scroll down until you see the option to "exclude forum from What New" to classifieds and ebay and turn it off and Right below the "links to craigslist/ebay" is "ebay listings". Exclude that one and you will get rid of the un-wanted ebay ads."

It is a Hoppe Quadzilla Fairing. I've had it on for approx. 5 yrs and my only complaint is that recently I got a rattle, which I believe i've isolated to a speaker bolts being loose, this I will fix by splitting fairing and repairing. The fairing does a good job of keeping the wind off your hands and even with the shorter windscreen the buffeting is minimal. The fairing comes with the necessary hardware to do the installation, which is straight forward. I'm providing a link to Phat Performnce where I purchased mine. Best of luck ! http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/Hoppe_Industries_Quadzilla_Fairing_Royal_Star_To_p/ymf-nryl-qz.htm

i get those emails all the time. i recently received a call from the IRS claiming i owed back taxes of $3897.00 and if it was not paid today, the local sheriffs dept. has a warrant for my arrest. this call came in just before noon, so i told this IRS agent to please ask the sheriff's to hurry to my house, as i was very hungry and wanted to get to the jail house in time for lunch. the agent said "i'm not kidding" and i said i'm not either and he hung up on me. i waited 15 minutes and called back the number and the same guy answered.... i told him that i'm waiting in my front yard and no sheriff has arrived yet, well he hung up on me again and when i tried a second time to call the number was disconnected. it's amazing but some people actually fall for this scam ??!!

Unless I'm mistaken, here in N.C. they do allow blind people to drive.... I know this because I have to dodge them all the time.....

Earl thank you for this vey useful advice and great explanation. I do have speed bleeders and will flush both clutch and brake systems. Isn't this site just the best place to invest $12.00 ! And Freebird thanks for making it possible...

Can't figure out what the kid did to be pulled over? The cop seemed frustrated so he picked the low hanging fruit. I have great respect for honest hard working cops but over the course of my lifetime I've seen too many cops like this one...who seem to believe they only need to enforce the laws but don't have a need to adhere to them...I.e. they are above the law. My two pennies worth...

How true that is Venturous.... Life is a marathon not a sprint....those last miles can be torture or miraculous !

Too add some ingredients to your pot SilverT....I'll take the most recent close call (last weekend) my wife and I experienced. We had just pulled into a shopping center and were driving thru the lot (in designated driving area) when a woman in a small car to our right was exiting a fast food joint, she had a stop sign, however she was either opening her hamburger or texting or something other than driving her car. It was apparent she was not going to stop, which would most likely have resulted in me "T" boning her. The temps were in the 40's so her windows were up, I opted not to use the wimpy stock horn (yes I know I have other horn options), I gave the engine a hard rev which resulted in the woman jerking up her head and realizing she needed to stop but not without a "look" that could kill. Of course this all happened real time and as this was unfolding I was making an avoidance maneuver myself. I guess my question might be.... What might have been the outcome of this scenario if I didn't have loud pipes? To be clear here, I am NOT wanting to start a pissing contest, just looking for some reasoned input.
-
Can't say for an absolute certainty that my loud pipes saved my (and wife's) lives but I know for a fact they have prevented us from several accidents. The stock pipes on my RSTD were so quiet I couldn't hear it running. I understand the pros and cons concerning ones pipe choice, obviously I chose loud.

Thanks MiCarl and Ragtop, when it warms up a bit I'll take a close look to see if I can detect any leakage. Btw when I was replenishing the reservoir, there was a fair amount of black sludge in there. I secured the clutch lever in and mighty vac'd out the fluid and cleaned it out. Then refilled it and clutch actuated normally. MiCarl you said the fluid rises as clutch wears, this must be a result of that? Although in this case the sludge must have accumulated before the level dropped. Thanks again gents for your inputs.

Should I see tell tale signs of fluid on my garage floor? What might be the most likely suspect of the leak?

Yes but 30 in dog years is 210....you know the old saying "nothing venture(d) nothing gained"... Congrats on your newest arrival .

A very nice tribute to your dad and best friend. I am curious if that '59 Moped was the "beginning" of your bike life? Also I hope you are progressing well with your health issue. -
You are correct... But I'm fairly certain that Uncledj and Stache also knew. However the award really goes to Chaharly for his very creative answer! So take this award ☔ and a buck outta your pocket and have a cup of ☕ on me.... Congrats !

It's an old joke but if you've never heard it...it causes one to put on the thinking cap and exercise those synapses....and as we get older that is a good thing. I don't know you but perhaps you really are that smart !

Great input djh3.....thanks !

Here's the deal...if you know the answer to this question, please don't post an answer for at least an hour after it's posted....give some others a chance to try figuring it out. here is the question : .... What can go up a chimney down...but cannot go down a chimney up? It get dark really early here so I get more ipad time, thus the quirkiness !

Because it resides between X and Z......that's Y.....

"Actually, 5.1 is different than 5. 5.1 is compatible with DOT4. Why you'd spend the extra money is beyond me though....." MiCarl I read somewhere about overheating the brakes and boiling the fluid, reducing braking power. So I thought I'd use 5.1 to get a little extra cushion... And I don't believe there is a significant difference in price. Also I had some 5.1 left over and thought I'd use it in the clutch reservoir.
-
Tried using the search for this info but came up empty. Can I use DOT brake fluid 5.1 in place of 4.0 in clutch reservoir ? I noticed while riding today that my reservoir level is low, it has never done this before. I have not yet checked for any leakage but will do so shortly. Also the clutch itself works perfectly, so apparently I've not introduced air into the line! Thanks for any and all assistance.
