Butt Butler Changes
naturbar replied to Rick Butler's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
could only ride max 50 miles on my 07 RSTD before the old tailbone got ahurtin' - sent driver - passenger & tour pack back rest to Rick .....rode 400 miles one day afterwards and had only the slightest discomfort. to this point of bike mods it was by far the best investment i've made. Rick does excellent work and goes beyond the requirement....bottom line - send your stuff to him, you'll be glad you did !! buz -
that is really sad... i hope insurance helps with that. in the meantime you might devise some type of outrigger to alleviate that problem in the future.

here are a few pics of today's M&E @ Speedy's Bar b que. thanks margaret for putting this together, it was nice to meet some of the VR family. look closely and you will see beer30 presenting riderduke with a pink shirt with 'stud muffin' on the back of shirt. the closeup of the good looking couple (lol) is me & wife. the black rstd is my bike this morning before heading out to the M&E.....i believe beer30 & riderduke also rode in. had a great time and looking forward to riding with a few of the member i met today. buz http://i50.tinypic.com/2iaxxft.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/25p5umo.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/10s821t.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/4vn4zp.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/vh4a4y.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/2j5x7gm.jpg

Joe, zebulon isn't that far from randleman - maybe we can hookup in the spring for a ride and a meal. i see that you are planning on the mini muffin annual meeting in lexington - if all goes well we will also be there. i planned on riding today but wife wanted to cage it to ikea....tomorrow looks to be the next opportunity for that ride.

gamecock, if the yammy dealer does the install, ask them to use a 30 or 40 amp relay (which does not come with the lamp kit). i just did the install on my 07 RSTD and the only issue i had was making the oem flashers fit onto the provided shaft - but got some great advice from this forum and that issue was resolved. good luck & you will absolutely love the look.

i should have prefaced my "Z" with "i digress". in terms of the natural progression of the English alphabet, "Z" is relevant. and i noticed another member understood my gist. so in the interest of not diverting this 'why' thread....i respectfully retract my "Z" in hopes of smoothing ruffled feathers. in this instance, thinking outside the "why" box isn't well received :-( ------ i will now return to my corner and behave.
