Thanks SilvrT. I'm safe for another year. I only missed one.

Sounds like a good buy tho a little high.Since he said he is removing the carbs and doing a complete rebuild you should be OK that way.Even with heated garage do not ride on the old tires get news even if you have to buy them youself. Old tires were the cause of my wreck in 2011.I had bought a 2008 RSV with only 511 miles on it and didn't change the tires. $300 for tires would have been a lot cheaper then the $150000 the hospital cost.

Thats Great Lewis. I know how that feels my daughter just finished her BSRN in Dec. That was also a great feat to pass her state licenseing exam the first time. She should not have any trouble getting a good job.Again congratulations to her.:cool10:

In 2002 a bunch of shipped our bikes from Salt lake City UT to Boston Mass. The company held them for us and then we rode back to SLC after seeing the sightd on the east coast Great trip. If you are an AMA member they have shipping contractors who are experienced in bike shipping and will give you a discount. Ita a great way to go if you want to ride at someplace far away but don't have the time to ride there.I like the idea of shipping to a member to hold for you for a while. That might make it easier.

Look in the yellow pages in your area and you should be able to find someone local Price should run around 60-70 bucks depending on color and prep.If you want a recomendation try Skinney's Restorations in Orem UT,run by Lonnie Woodard (loonair@hotmail.com) I had the front wheel of my 86 VR done several years ago in a color close to the darker brown color and I really liked it.It set the bike off.I removed the seal and wheel bearings and disks myself. I had the person who did it leave the polished edges uncoated, only coating the black part, then i polished the edges. I think I paid about $40 ten/12 years ago.

In their motorcycle cataloge JC Whitney has replacement lights for those of you who are trying to make their reflectors into running lights/turnsignals.As I remember they have in both red and amber and are the same size as an RSV/RSTD reflector. -
+3 on the Goo Gone.It is made for taking that sort of thing off without hurting thr finish underneath. Wal Mart Home Depot Lowes etc all have it.

I had White Coat Hypertension all my life except one day it didn't go away so now I am on 5 different meds for blood pressure, but they do work.It may take a couple of tries to get it right but worth it. You should get your own cuff as midlifeventure did. They are easy to learn to use and many will even do all the work and just give you a reading at the end.No Stethoscope or listening on your part.

Don't know didn't try but it will do donuts in the parking lot of the church across the street from my house.

I have removed the bottom bolt from the Middle drive cover before at oil change time to make sure I got all the oil out. This was talked about years ago in the old VTS. I decided that for myself there was so little oil that came out (About 2 table spoons full) that it wasn't worth it. so I no longer worry about it.I did not know about the other bolt.Always new things to learn and try. -
It looked like the Venture was bogging off the line, maybe not enough rpm to launch?

There used to be a good forum over on Delphi Forums. You would have to do a search for it tho as I can't remember the URL. www.delphiforums.com They want you to join their group and pay so much a month but you can become a basic member for free. You can also post and search without filling out a profile.

Question #2 "When will you start the potatos?" Question #3 "How long does it take to do the potatos?" Question #4 " What time do we have to leave so the potatos can be served with dinner?" on so on and so forth until you arrive at your answer. Remember that it is interaction and conversation that is the point of this activity not the conveying of information or arriving at the party at a pre determined time. The fact that you arrive at an answer to your original question is only a serendipitus occurance:080402gudl_prv: -
