  1. No problem. I just listed the ones that I have either mail or PayPal for. I've got you covered though.
  2. Ken, I just looked through them again and don't see it. My wife may have put it somewhere else if it came while I was gone though. Don't worry about it. I've got you down.
  3. Sorry about that Tom...yes...that is you. I have now changed your name.
  4. OK folks...here is what I have at this time for the VR Guardian Bells. I spoke to the manufacturer yesterday and the model is done. He is emailing me a photo of the wax model tomorrow and then said that it should take more than 3 or 4 days to get them cast. So...I figure that by the time he gets them shipped to me and I get them shipped to you, it will probably be another couple of weeks before you actually receive them. Please check this list and verify that I have received your order. If you are not listed, it means I either missed your order when compiling the list or I have not yet received your order. Please let me know if you are not listed here and thought that you had ordered. As you can see, the orders have come in very nicely. I am very pleased with the response to this and thank ALL of you for not leaving me sitting on a bunch of these. If my calculations are correct, I still have about 70 remaining and it's nice to have some on hand for future orders. Also, I can order more at any time and will not have to order the 250 minimum next time. I can probably order them 100 at a time now if I need to. 5. Done already. User banned, IP range banned.
  6. Yes, I changed out BOTH. Throttle cables and brake lines. Some have said that you can reroute and get the old ones to work but I don't recommend it and besides, SS brake lines are the way to go for many reasons. As for the brake lines, I bought them from a place that I would NOT recommend to anybody here. RickH at Buckeye has what you need and knows what to send you.
  7. Just a little tip for everybody....if a member has a profile picture uploaded, you will see a little camera icon beside their avatar.

They are Squidley, Black Owl and Buddy Rich. Also Sofapilot but he has pretty much been out of contact for a while so I may add another one soon. To be honest, I've never felt that we need a lot of moderators as this group is exceptionally well mannered.

Yes, we have great members here. Mistakes are sometimes made in postings but the members here are very good about self-moderating. I was away from the computer all day yesterday while traveling home from Wisconsin. Got some PMs that I didn't see until this morning but one of the moderators had already taken care of it.
  10. Here....this is for you, Skid, Eddie...
  11. Interesting read. http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/motorcycle-air-bag/dainese-d-air.htm
  12. Actually, we do neither of those. We make dimensional letters and plaques. We are a wholesaler selling only to sign companies. Providing dimensional letters, cast, waterjet cut metals, injection molded, vacuum formed, laser cut acrylic, etc. Also cast aluminum and bronze plaques and acid etched plaques.
  13. I managed to keep up with most of the posts until early yesterday morning. Didn't have time to reply to many but at least read most of them. Sales meeting was OK as far as sales meetings go. Food is always good at our meetings. Had a great porterhouse at a place in Hayward, WI called Tally Hos. Very good food. We usually have our Thursday night dinner there. Most other meals are at our company resort but are also good. On Wednesday evening, we had roast pheasant and grouse. Excellent. Otherwise, typical sales meeting. Sit there and hear the same things we hear every other year. It's always good to see my co-workers though. About twice a year is the only time I see any of them so it's always good to catch up on things. We also have our yearly employee evaluations, pay discussions, etc. during the fall meeting so I know that I have a job for another year. Next meeting is in April in Orlando, FL. We have our spring meeting in Orlando every other year as it coincides with the big sign show convention that alternates between Orlando and Vegas every other year.
  14. Got home around midnight last night. Good to be home again. I tell you, I still travel a lot but I don't fly that much and am REALLY happy about that. The airports are just WAY to busy now days.
  15. Rick Butler changed his out. I don't remember what caliper he went with. I'll try to do a search and see what I can find. Sorry to hear about the leg and hope it doesn't come to that.
  16. Kit, My idea of mounting it has nothing to do with the lengths of the lines and etc., I just really don't want it on the master cylinder. The place where the lines split already has a banjo bolt and etc. and will be the same as installing it at the top.
  17. A lot of guys here have the Harley Road King with the slant cut ends that match the slant of the RSV bags very well. I actually have the RSTD mufflers on my RSV but the tips can be turned and I have mine pointed out to the side. Sorry, I'm out of town and don't have a picture of them on the computer here.
  18. I've used the MX4T in my '99 since '99. You can't go wrong with it.
  19. Well folks, it is that time of the year again. I'll be flying out of here around 10:00 to Minnesota and then driving to the company resort in Wisconsin for our semi-annual sales meeting. The good news is that I was told last week that they had installed high speed wireless Internet at the resort so HOPEFULLY I won't be out of touch for a week as I usually am. At any rate, will be in meetings until heading back home on Friday but should be able to check in here in the evenings and early mornings.
  20. It's just one of those things that everybody has to make their own decision about. I just happen to feel that anything we can do to improve these brakes is a good thing. I've ridden a lot of years (about 50) and a lot of different bikes. I've not only practiced but even took the Advanced Riders course on the RSV and went through the emergency braking maneuvers and in my opinion, they just lock up way too quick. I have the proportioning valve on the rear that I got from Rick Butler and I have the TCB from Zack that I'm going to put on just as soon as I have a few spare minutes. From reading Kit Carson's review on the TCB, I've decided to go with it AND the proportioning valve and see how that works out. I can tell you for sure that even with the proportioning valve, you can still lock up the rear tire fairly easily. Not near as easily as without it though. I guess I'm saying that you can easily lock it up if you try but not as likely to do so accidentally. I'm thinking that it and the TCB will be the optimal solution. Also, you do not need 3 of the TCB units, only 2. one for the rear and one for the front. You can put the front one at the master cylinder or lower where the lines split. I'm thinking of putting mine lower where the lines split. Will probably require some trimming of the black plastic shield though.
  21. Hey..you are rhyming you know.... Look before you leap.... It's 4am and I can't sleep.... There has to be a country song there somewhere.
  22. It is not that unusual. Usually caused by slightly overfilling the oil. Most of us have found that with the bike in the complete upright position, NOT on the sidestand, that you don't want to fill it more than about halfway or just slightly above halfway in the site glass. If you use the full amount as listed in the manual, you will get that oil that you are seeing.
  23. We have a member here by the username enforcers who is looking for a stock seat for him 2000 RSV. He needs both seats and the passenger backrest. He want's to switch from the brown seat of the MM to black seats. If anybody has a set that they want to get rid of or trade for brown, please shoot him an email at kwdrifter@hotmail.com He is having some problems posting and we are working through that. Thanks
  24. Actually, it's in the upper menu bar. Actually the second menu bar at the top.
  25. Another thing, the Bub's will always be louder than the stock mufflers but there is also a good chance that the need to be re-packed. They have fiberglass packing and do burn out over time. They can be repacked though. You have to drill out the rivets that hold the tips on and then drive the baffles out from the inlet end. They are probably a lot loud now than they have to be.
