Increasing horsepower
Freebird replied to ediddy's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Oh...I see....you mean for the VMax. Nope, don't see it there but they do list it for the RSV. -
Mini Muffin...I found yours. Sorry about that, I had it filed under the "pink bells with lace" folder. Also just got a snail mail order from Bill Darling. That means that there are only 29 bells left of the 250 that I ordered. I'm thinking now that maybe I should increase my order to 300. hmmmmm

Yes, I have yours. Sorry about that. I've added you to the list. No problem. Got you down for 3. WHERE'S THE MONEY????
-
I'll look when I get home later today, I may have just missed it. I may also have just thrown it away. I typically will not ship to anybody who might display it while wearing pink chaps.

Increasing horsepower

Sure they do. It is right on the starmotorcycle website. 79 cubic-inch liquid-cooled, V-four tuned to put out class-leading power — 97hp @ 6000 rpm and maximum torque at 89 ft.-lb. @ 4750 rpm — for incomparable touring performance. http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/products/modelfeatures/4/0/features.aspx -
Now YOU stay out of this.

Glad I'm married to a brunette and also that I don't ride an '83 BLONDE. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,312136,00.html

That's almost funny. My Doctor recently decided that I have ADD and gave me a prescription. My insurance told me that I'm too old to have ADD and refuses to cover it. I was happy to find out that I have such good insurance that they know better than my Doctor. I'm glad to know it was a false alarm.

Folks...I'm thinking May 24th for my annual Maintenance Day. That is Memorial Day weekend though as Memorial day is the following Monday, the 26th. Does that cause a problem or make it better for everybody? I can move it to the following weekend, June 7th, if that works better for most people.

Hey folks...I obviously didn't make my post very clear. This is simply an example of what can be done. I quickly threw it together from some pics that I had readily available in a folder. Like I said, if there is any interest, it will NOT be this one in any manner. I will either have pictures emailed to me or I will select them from our various available pictures from the pic gallery, photobucket account, etc. It will NOT be the pictures shown in this sample. Sorry about the confusion.

Yep, found that one too. My wife and stuck some in a different place. I just added them to the list. Thanks.
-
Found it. No problem.

Nope, not too late at all. Thanks.
-
No problem. I hadn't forgotten.

OK....here is one that I put together from some pics that I had handy. If there is enough interest, I will do one and have them printed. I don't know how much it will cost but I assume in the $20.00 per poster range. That could be a little high or low and it will likely depend upon how many people want them. So....any interest? If so, I will be pulling pictures from the Pic Gallery and also from our Rallies and Meet and Eats from our Photobucket account. Not sure how many I can get on a poster. It will depend upon what size posters you want. The bigger they are the more they will cost of course. I can't even believe I am thinking about this.....someday maybe I'll learn better .... but I doubt it.
-
No problem. I just listed the ones that I have either mail or PayPal for. I've got you covered though.
-
Ken, I just looked through them again and don't see it. My wife may have put it somewhere else if it came while I was gone though. Don't worry about it. I've got you down.
-
Sorry about that Tom...yes...that is you. I have now changed your name.

OK folks...here is what I have at this time for the VR Guardian Bells. I spoke to the manufacturer yesterday and the model is done. He is emailing me a photo of the wax model tomorrow and then said that it should take more than 3 or 4 days to get them cast. So...I figure that by the time he gets them shipped to me and I get them shipped to you, it will probably be another couple of weeks before you actually receive them. Please check this list and verify that I have received your order. If you are not listed, it means I either missed your order when compiling the list or I have not yet received your order. Please let me know if you are not listed here and thought that you had ordered. As you can see, the orders have come in very nicely. I am very pleased with the response to this and thank ALL of you for not leaving me sitting on a bunch of these. If my calculations are correct, I still have about 70 remaining and it's nice to have some on hand for future orders. Also, I can order more at any time and will not have to order the 250 minimum next time. I can probably order them 100 at a time now if I need to. Yes, I changed out BOTH. Throttle cables and brake lines. Some have said that you can reroute and get the old ones to work but I don't recommend it and besides, SS brake lines are the way to go for many reasons. As for the brake lines, I bought them from a place that I would NOT recommend to anybody here. RickH at Buckeye has what you need and knows what to send you.

They are Squidley, Black Owl and Buddy Rich. Also Sofapilot but he has pretty much been out of contact for a while so I may add another one soon. To be honest, I've never felt that we need a lot of moderators as this group is exceptionally well mannered.

Yes, we have great members here. Mistakes are sometimes made in postings but the members here are very good about self-moderating. I was away from the computer all day yesterday while traveling home from Wisconsin. Got some PMs that I didn't see until this morning but one of the moderators had already taken care of it.
