Nitrogen filled tires
Freebird replied to geresti's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
We'll just go back to using pink air. How many here have heard of THAT? -
FINE...if you are going to be THAT way about it. I don't want Pamela though....I'll just find me another one.
-
Actually...she would be my number one pick from those listed. Pamela Anderson has too many miles on her now.

A little cleaner. Also a bit cleaner at low volumes. It all depends upon which speakers you are using. When you upgrade speakers, you often don't have enough power to drive them with the stock units. So the amp helps some even at low volumes. Just not as much as I had hoped.

I have transitions also and like them for the most part. The downside is that they do NOT work in the car so if you need sunglasses in the car, you will need something else. They work off ultraviolet rays and car windshields are made with ultraviolet filters.

Now about you just pay for shipping and keep all those old green stamps. Send me a PM with your address and I'll get it shipped. I will then let you know how much the shipping was and you can PayPal me or send me a money order or whatever.

Hey...I'm not one to mention names. That's not to day that YOU can't.

Yes...the monster could enter so long as he is clothed. Clothing is MANDATORY. Exceptions will be made at the discretion of the owner....well....so long as the owner's wife is not around. Exceptions may include but are not limited to: Pamela Anderson, Marisa Tomei, Halle Berry, etc. etc. etc.......

I told you that I was busy on Saturday building a base for a hot tub. Got it all installed and warmed up. Got all the chemicals adjusted right and tried it out tonight for the first time. I had one when we lived in Dallas but forgot how much I enjoyed it. Sitting out there with light snow flurries and 12 degrees with the spa temp steady at 101 F and a hot cup of coffee....a little bit of heaven in the frozen north. I feel more relaxed than I've been in months. OH...and ONE MORE THING. Come maintenance day here...there will be NO pond monster in the spa. Some of you will KNOW what I'm talking about.

Any good speaker with polycarbonate cones will be fine. The Polk 400 or 401s seem to be getting pretty popular around here. I have Pioneers in my RSV but am going to try the Polks soon. By the way, the Polk speaker is rated for marine use so it should hold up very well.

Hey my friend...I'm not scared of MY wife....just YOURS.

hmmm.....maybe it's getting to close to my maintenance day for me to be giving Ramona a hard time, she may show up here. OK....I was just kidding about all that stuff Ramona and also about that little joke when you wanted to paint the bike pink...well you KNOW I was kidding....right...uh....RIGHT????

You know....when you see a new baby you always say "ohhhh.....what a beautiful baby"...even when it is NOT true. Little bald headed wrinkled rat looking things. BUT...that truly is a good looking young man. What a head of hair. Congrats to all. You should be very proud.

Nope folks...I don't have any. I may have a couple of first gen stands around here but no brackets for them.

It kind of surprises me also. Although, I also have a home cradle for one of my XM units and found that with the home antenna sitting on top of my entertainment center it would work if I had it aimed exactly right. In regards to riding in the mountains, I sometimes lose the signal also and my antenna on the bike in mounted on top of the clutch reservoir. Also happens sometimes where there is heavy tree coverage beside the road.

He's looking for a center stand. Unless he has already bought one from Rivco, there would not be an "existing" one. By the way, I just noticed that he wanted a black one. I think that all the Diamond R stands were chrome also.

I've met in person and had dealings with Pinwall. Some folks say that they are too expensive. They are higher than the average joe that is just trying to get rid of some spare parts but compared to retail, their prices are good. I've been to their place and ALL parts are stored inside, out of the weather. Bikes are immediately torn down, parts categorized and inventoried. http://stores.ebay.com/PinWall-Cycle-Parts-Inc

Great folks. Go to their website at http://www.diamondraccessories.com and there should be a phone number.
-
No, Yamaha never offered one. There have only been TWO companies that offered an aftermarket stand. Rivco and Diamond R. I don't think that Diamond R makes them any longer but they were supposed to be working on a new design. So...at this point...you can buy a Rivco or retrofit a first gen or do without.

I think the dealer that claimed each dealer gets only one is blowing smoke. I've been into several dealerships that had more than one on the floor. Now it's POSSIBLE that they bought them from other dealers but I don't think so.

hmmmmm.....your ex is headed to Ohio and all my ex's live in Texas. I guess in a way we are covering each other's backs. Glad you got it over with and are back with us.
