I've had mine installed since 1999. They are wired to be on with high and low beams unless I manually turn them off. I have them on all the time and so far, have never been so much as questioned about them. See my ride map below for the states I've ridden in with no problems. Now after saying this, I'll probably get a ticket.

Got it but there was no address. Please send the address you want them mailed to. For any of you ordering with PayPal, if you don't choose "other goods" or something like that, they do not send the address with your payment. For example, if you choose "services" or something like that then I don't get the address. Don

HA...I'll let YOU deal with Eileen.

That's about as cheap as I've seen them. $349.95 at http://www.mrcycles.com/ but I don't know what the shipping is.

OK folks, I now have the small VentureRider patches in stock again. I will get them mailed to those of you who have already ordered within the next day or two. I will be home tomorrow night so should get them out on Friday. If there are any of you who have not ordered and wish to, you can find the details here: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=645

Those are pretty nice. I had one of the originals for the '99. Gave it to Squidley a couple of years ago....it was the silver though, before the Midnight came out.

Well...I can't speak for Skid but it would take about 5 minutes to show what I have learned. I'm still at it though. I'm sitting here in my hotel room with my guitar right here beside me. I play for a bit every night...watch a little TV...play a bit more.

None of you are so far away that you can't make my annual maintenance day in July. Check out the calendar and make plans to join us. It's always a lot of fun.

I've owned the ColorTune for several years. I have found it to be a great product. Some folks have complained that they couldn't see the flame very well but I've honestly had no problems. It works better to do it in the garage or other dimly lit place.

I get a LOT of emails. Sometimes 600+ per day. I go through them pretty quickly and delete the majority. Then I go back and read through them again. I reply to any questions about the site, a member having problems logging in, etc. Answer any that ask a question about the bikes. I do enjoy many of the ones that get forwarded to me that are just fun or inspirational but one thing I will not do. I may read and enjoy but when it says "forward to 10 friends in the next 24 hours and blah blah blah...." that is NOT going to happen. Sorry, I just think those are nonsense.

Need Help Please!!!! Advice!!

They do make a special motorcycle oil. I've been using it in my RSV since 1999. I won't use anything else but others here have favorites also. You can find it at SOME Walmarts. I get mine at Autozone. Not cheap...about $8.00 per quart. -
It is adjusted through the pod on the handlebar. If you scroll through the menu you will find IC. Turn it down and you won't hear it in your helmet.

Yep....I do like them in white. Very nice.

Thanks for posting, it's nice to hear from you. I had the pleasure of meeting Mark at Vogel and he will surely be missed. Please don't be a stranger. If you need anything at all, just ask. We will be here for you. Don

Actually, I have the option in the software here to add watermarks automatically to any photo uploaded here or in the PicGallery. I just don't see a good reason to do it.

That is what I use also. It is called Image Resizer. It is NOT a standard feature of Windows XP however. You have to download and install it. Here is more and the link. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1859

OK...just a bit of information for everybody. After spending WAY too much time trying to figure out why the video in my first post wouldn't work, I finally found the answer. I didn't know this because I have never uploaded a video to You Tube. Apparently there is an option when you upload a video there to NOT allow it to be embedded on another site, such as here. In this case, if you want to watch the video, just click on "YOU TUBE" in the lower right corner of the video window and it will open the video on the You Tube page. NOT where it says "You Tube" in the very lower right of the menu bar but click where it says "You Tube" in the lower right of the actual video screen.
