  1. My wife and I along with Bob and Becky Dakin did it a few years ago. Fantastic riding in that area. I can't remember when we were there...it was in June I think and they just opened it up the week before we got there. Here is a picture of Eileen and I at the top.
  2. Heck....the bike isn't THAT big...you should be looking for a small yard and a LARGE beer.
  3. I do it pretty much the same way except I don't remove the fuel tank. I just unbolt it and lift the front enough to remove the "dog bones" so that I can get to the plugs. I then just let it sit there while I do the colortune.
  4. I know the answer to this one but I'm not talking either.

    For your pet

Here you go...if you are too lazy to throw the ball yourself. [ame=http://youtube.com/watch?v=4PcL6-mjRNk]YouTube - Jerry needs no help playing with his ball.[/ame]
  6. Got home Thursday and all the snow had finally melted away. I could even find my driveway. Woke up this morning and we have another 6" of snow. I want to RIDE!!!!! Going to Orlando, FL on Tuesday for a sales meeting and trade show. Sure wish I could take the bike but it won't fit in the planes overhead bin.

  8. These are the small patches and yes, they are still available. I ordered enough of them to cover us for a while.
  9. Not a problem. I've got PLENTY left.

    Seafoam

I use one full can to a tank of gas. Once in the spring and then a can to a full tank of gas before I park it for the winter.
  11. Very common. Take a look at this thread. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=493
  12. I mailed most of your patches this morning. If you paid via PayPal, if I had received your check, or if you have even told me that you are sending payment via mail and provided me your address then your patches are on the way. Three exceptions. The PayPal notifications did not include address for: Robert Russell David Warren Steve Risher If you guys will PM me your addresses, I can still get them out today or tomorrow. Thanks, Don
  13. You can order by mail. I'll PM you the address.
  14. Enjoyed the music and also looking through your photos at MySpace. In one of your pictures, I actually spotted just the headstock of a Seagull. That's my baby. I love mine. I'm actually sort of looking for a 12 string of some kind now also. I've been outbid on Ebay 8 times in the past couple of weeks. Sooner or later, I'll find what I'm looking for at a price I can afford.
  15. FANTASTIC...WOW....a blank slate for us to help you spend MUCHO MONEY on. Bring it and lot's of chrome to my house...you know the place and date.
  16. Soooooo.....you have no excuses not to make my Maintenance Day either. YIPPEEE...
  17. LOL...no message intended. I actually don't know if there are any more flags available or not. You can PM or email Eddie and ask. He had them made up and did a great job. If fact, I think I'll contact him. Mine is starting to get a bit worn. Decals and other items are available under the "VetureRider Merchandise" topic area.
  18. Soon...very soon. Gray Ghost has taken over as our cap supplier. He now has the artwork and etc. and the caps are on order..he may have them by now I'm not sure. I'm sure he will post soon. By the way, I just got home and though I knew that the patches had arrived, I had not seen them. I am very pleased. I went with a different vendor this time because the other raised the prices WAY up and I wanted to maintain the price that I had been selling them for. I also had them done this time with a "heat seal" backing. I think that the quality of these is much better than the last ones. The text is more crisp and it just looks better to me. Don
  19. I've never had it done but a very dear friend had a hip replacement and his only regret was that he hadn't done it YEARS before he finally did.
  20. Actually, RickH is on this site also and does give our members a discount. Be sure and tell him that you are a VentureRider.
  21. This is just a note to say that I hope all our members in and around Missouri are doing OK. With the severe flooding going on there, I hope you are all on high ground. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
  22. I carry my Dell Inspiron with me on the bike when I travel on it. Have never had a problem with it. My case came with a padded sleeve and I take the sleeve out and put the computer in it when I travel on the bike. My cell phone does have the capability of Internet and email but I don't subscribe to that service. I just have no desire to try and use it on that small screen.
  23. I don't know. Can you see other attachments in other threads? Here it is again if it helps any.
  24. I don't think it's that important but I use Mobil 1 synthetic. 75W-90
  25. I've had mine installed since 1999. They are wired to be on with high and low beams unless I manually turn them off. I have them on all the time and so far, have never been so much as questioned about them. See my ride map below for the states I've ridden in with no problems. Now after saying this, I'll probably get a ticket.
