    I don't recognize the names. Where in Kentucky is it? I travel a good bit in eastern Kentucky.

    I'm not sure what you mean. Did you buy a bluetooth setup? If so, what did you buy? Most that I've seen come with a box/transmitter that you plug into the system and then the headset pairs with it. If so, I don't see how any regular headset could work because they must have the receiver and etc. to pair with the transmitter.

    I don't know of anything on the bike that could be causing it. Does it happen while in use or do you just plug them in and find that they no longer work?

    I use Firefox and it is showing just over 300 items. I would clear out the cache and etc.

    No, it is not a Super Brace. Super Brace is a brand name. That is a similar product that is manufactured and sold for the same purpose but it is NOT the Super Brace brand.

    I'm not trying to be difficult but I honestly don't know what you are talking about. I don't know of an Ebay link at the bottom. Are you talking about on the home page or on the forum page?

    Which Ebay link at the bottom of the page? If I click the one in the left menu bar or at the end of the listings on the home page, It only comes up with 7 pages.

    You should be able to. I made a mistake in the .htaccess file but it is corrected now. I DID have to clear my browsing history and etc. to make it work for me again though.

    You'll be faced with another potential issue. You could end up with two keys now. One for the ignition and one for the bags and etc. There are two ways around this. 1. Make them remove the key mechanism from the old switch and install it in the new one. Then you will continue using the original key. 2. Get a key blank. Have one side of the key cut to match the new key and the other side cut to match the old key. Then it will work both, depending upon which way you insert it.

    I agree...it very likely the ignition switch...the one that the key goes in.

    Folks, this is really nothing new. They changed it a bit with this last upgrade but there has always been a "buddy list". I think they just call it a friends list now. The function is about the same as far as I know. I really don't care about it one way or the other. I accept requests when I get them but then really don't pay attention to it. If the majority of you want it to go away, I can make that happen.

    Basically anything from '83-'93 is considered first gen. '99 and up are second gen. You might direct them to our history page at: http://www.venturerider.org/modules/history/index.php As for the brakes, some find them to be lacking. I really don't. Some of us think that the rears are a bit too sensitive and have made some mods to it. Rick Butler has a proportioning valve setup that works well and I have it on mine. Check out the tech library for more info on that.

    I agree with the ignition switch. No uncommon and you describe exactly what happens. There is a write-up in the tech library showing how to temporarily bypass it.

    We were having some problems last night. I was working on the server and it went down a couple of times and I think some people gave up and went to bed. At one time last night, we had 98 members on line and some guests.

    Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, West Virginia, Western PA and Western NY. In Kentucky I get all the way to the Tennessee line and about as far west as Somerset. NY top to bottom but only east as far as around Rochester. PA top to bottom as far east as State College.

    I've heard others report the same thing. I think it's sour grapes on their part because you didn't buy from them. I don't suppose you can do anything about it though. I would certainly mount my own in that case. There is a Honda dealer close to me that never says a word about where I buy the tires. They charge $25.00 a tire if I bring the wheels and tires in. Fair enough I think.
