  1. It should be in the right saddlebag under the rubber mat.
  2. Very nice. Those are memories that will last the children forever. I'm very happy for you and the kids.
  3. I happened to come up with a new "smilie" that made me think of Black Owl. Here is one that he can use to indicate he is attending one of our meets.
  4. I should clarify this just a bit. It is non-profit for ME. I have never tried to make any money off our rallies for me or for the site. We don't mind making a bit of money if we can though. If so, it goes into a fund to help with the next rally. The International Rally does usually require a bit of upfront money for deposits for the catered dinner, breakfasts, etc. Therefore, we do try to keep a bit of money in a fund to cover such things. For example, we forwarded a bit of money to ReinyRooster and team for the rally in Kitchener. After they total everything up, they will hopefully be able to return that money from the registration proceeds and etc. If they made any extra money, they will forward it also. So, while it is not my goal to personally profit, it is nice if we can keep some money in the account for such needs in the future.
  5. On the main page of the forum, scroll down until you see the area "Vendors who offer us discounts"
  6. LOL....that's better...now even I don't understand it.
  7. MISTAKEN!!!! WHO ME!!!!!! Very highly...uh....likely.
  8. Yep, sounds like you are doing it correctly. It just confused me a bit when you started talking about backing them all out then 3 1/2 turns in and etc. Hadn't heard of that before when syncing carbs but there it is a standard way of finding a starting point for the fuel mixture. Except it's all the way in and then back them out 3 - 3 1/2 turns. Sorry, didn't mean to confuse things.
  9. Go to the classifieds section and then in the upper right of the page, you should see a link that says "Place Ad".
  10. I may be wrong but it sure seems that you are mixing up the sync screws with the mixture screws. I have been trying to figure out HOW syncing the carbs was causing it to not start. I think you have syncing mixed up with air/fuel mixture. You don't touch those screws when you sync the carbs.
  11. I go to Hooters...but just for the food.
  12. I don't remember the channel numbers but I really like Coffee House (acoustic hits), Classic Vinyl and Movin' Easy. Also a good blues channel and a couple of good country stations.
  13. This took a long time but it looks like they finally got the approval. Only time will tell if it ends up being a good thing or bad thing for the consumer. Now I wish I hadn't switched to Sirius. I understand that soon now you will be able to pick your own programming from each one...build your own favorite channels. I have actually enjoyed the Sirius programming more than XM but I liked XM equipment better.
  14. That's what I have used for several years. I highly recommend it.
  15. Here is the website, from what I've heard, it will be an EXCELLENT choice. http://www.hubinfo.com/
  16. I don't know how far he is willing to travel but it seems that http://www.hondaeasttoledo.com/ has good prices. That is near Toledo, OH though.
  17. Yea, something is very perplexing about this one. I've seen bikes with carbs WAY out of sync but never bad enough that they wouldn't start. I think there is something more to this but I'm not sure what without being there.
  18. You better watch yourself there Mr. Goose. That comment about the boxers and pink hearts may offend the Muffinman.
  19. OOPS....did I say that out loud?
  20. There was actually a LONG thread about this somewhere. A lot of positive and negative opinions. Personally, I have one and love it. There was a time when just having your headlight on was enough. None of the cars at that time had daytime running lights so your light on made you stand out. Now with so many cars using the daytime running lights, just having a light on is no longer effective. I am convinced that the modulator helps get me noticed.
  21. That's pretty cool. I've actual done most of that myself. I mean...not with all those other bikes around ... just myself.
  22. OH...and I think you have put together an EXCELLENT team. I thank you for doing it and I thank all your committee for volunteering their time. Well....except maybe for that Rindercella person....you may have to remind her that just like the forums, the Rally is PG Rated.
  23. and THAT is what this organization is all about. The friendships. I love those kind of stories.
  24. WOW...I'm already getting excited about 2009. I've ridden that area a couple of times and the MTA had a rally in Harrison a few years ago that Eileen and I attended. I think everybody is going to have a really great time.
  25. Good deal. Glad it's working out for folks.
