  1. OK...I understand but I honestly don't know how I can do what you are asking. Using the "back" button on the browser is the only thing I can think of at this time. I will give it some more thought though and see if I can come up with anything.
  2. I'm not sure that I fully understand this. There is a "New Posts" link in the menu bar at the top of the page as well as in the menu bar at the bottom of the page. Clicking either of those will open the list again.
  3. I've lost one of the little covers of the side of my N41 also. I'm not sure which part to order though. The part that is missing on mine is the little rectangular cover on the side that covers the screw. It's a clear piece maybe an inch wide and 1 1/2" long? I don't know if that would be the replacement pivot kit or the replacement faceshield cover kit. I wish they showed some pictures.
  4. I believe that would be the '87 model.
  5. No, it does not unplug. You have to unplug it inside the black box under the trunk. It's a Motorola type connector.
  6. Is this article online?
  7. Mine has done the same thing. I simply opened it up and with steady and smooth force, forced it open all the way. It straightened it out and I've never had another problem.
  8. I have no idea about the job availability here but I'm currently on business in the London, KY area. Today I drove from London over to Hazard. I drove the Hal Rogers Parkway to Hazard which is a beautiful drive. Then I came back on various roads one of which was SR80. Fantastic road that had me wishing that I was on the bike. I've been to this area a number of times and always think that I might like to live here.
  9. Doesn't sound like you came through it in the greatest condition but...at least you are here to tell us about it. I'm truly sorry that it happened and hope that things heal as they should. I think that what happened to you can happen to most all of us at some time or another. It's easy to swept up in the scenery and etc. and only takes a couple of seconds for that to turn into a bad thing. Thanks for the reminder.
  10. Great picture Allen. It catches him exactly the way I remember him. Always sporting that TShirt or one just like it in various colors.
  11. Allen, Thanks for letting us know. I met and talked to Frank at several MTA rallies. Like you said, he was always easy to spot in those TShirts. Quiet a character and will be missed by many.
  12. Come to think of it, I haven't heard anything from Zach in a while now. You might try sending him a PM. Here is his profile. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/member.php?u=3722
  13. I'm going to guess that it wasn't their motorcycle specific oil that you asked about. The MX4T specifically states that is is formulated for wet clutch applications. http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Oils/Mobil1_Racing_4T_10W-40.aspx I've used it in 4 different bikes since about 1999 and in my RSV since 1999 with no clutch problems.
  14. WHICH Mobil 1?
  15. OK folks, I just got words that the VentureRider Guardian bells will be shipped to me either tomorrow or Tuesday. Hopefully they will be here by the time I get home on Thursday and I can get them out to those of you who have ordered. Still plenty left if anybody wants one or more.
  16. Do you have a really good dealer that you trust 100%? I only ask because I've seen so many carbs that were WAY out after just being done by some dealers....too many dealers. I wish we lived closer so that I could check them for you.
  17. I'll be honest. That was so long ago that I really don't remember now. I just know that I had it opposite of the way it should have been. I'm really sorry that I don't remember. I should have taken pictures.
  18. LOL....it's in the first post of this thread. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=17406
  19. The Hub is a motorcycle resort. It's also the location of the VentureRider International Rally in 2009. Here is a link to it. http://www.hubinfo.com/
  20. I'm really sorry to hear about the accident. I always hate hearing about one of our own going down. As for the parts, that may be a tough one. Chances of finding a crashed '07 in that color without that part being damage will be tough. I know that Pinwall is parting out a blue '07 right now. He doesn't have that particular part listed in his Ebay store so odds are, it was damaged but it wouldn't hurt to give him a call. Here is the number. (330)879-9910 Tell him that Don Nelson from VentureRider sent you. That way he may raise the price.
  21. About time you posted a picture of that thing. I love those old BSAs. Sure would love to have one to play with. Someday maybe.
  22. I agree. I think the Wing would be the clear winner.
  23. Well, it's not their first dealings with an Italian company. I've owned two Harley Sprints, both Italian made by Aermacchi. I don't know if Harley owned any part of that company or just subcontracted the small bikes to them.
  24. It's pretty normal. It usually indicates that at some time or another, there was too much oil put in during an oil change. If you fill it to the top mark of the site glass with the bike sitting level, that will ofte happen. About half way in the site glass is what you want.
  25. I was going to say the same thing that Steve did. If you don't have headsets hooked up, make sure it's not on HS.
