I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. It's hard hearing of a biker going down, especially when it is one of our family members here. 62 MPH on pavement is a hard crash and though it sounds like the injuries are plenty bad, I'm so thankful that the news is not even worse. We will keep in in our prayers.

I'm jealous. Would LOVE to be there. Looks like you are off to a great start to a fantastic weekend.

I've used Front Page a lot over the years. For somebody new to creating html pages, it is very easy to use. It can cause some problems though if you try to use some of the features included. You can end up with a page that will only display properly with Internet Explorer. Though Internet Explorer is still the number one browser used, there are a lot of people that use other browsers. I use Firefox almost exclusively but I do check any changes that I make to the site with IE also because that's what most of our members are using. Most of the changes and modifications that I make here are actually done with a text editor.

In some states, the lemon laws cover both automobiles and motorcycles. I know for a fact that they do in Ohio and your bike may well qualify at this point. The downside is that it can take as long as 2 years to settle a lemon law case so that's not going to speed things up much.

No, you do not need the headset to adjust the SWR. Just the meter and then you'll use the press to talk button on the handlebars.

Isn't it amazing. Kind of like motorcycles huh? Everybody sees and hears them differently. I've tried the Alverez also and didn't think it was even in the same class as the Seagull. Here is a website that I like for acoustic/acoustic electric guitars. Do a search for different brands there and you'll find a lot of good opinions. Nice people for the most part. http://www.acousticguitar.com/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi

No, it was built by me originally. It's been back and forth a few times with them editing it and then me changing it back. If you click the "history" tab from that page, you will see that I originally created it in August of '07.

I LOVE my Seagull. They are a Canadian made guitar but you can find them at any Guitar Center. You get a LOT better guitar than what you pay for in my opinion. Here is a link to the ad at Guitar Center. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Seagull-25th-Anniversary-CW-Flame-Maple-EQ--Acoustic-Electric-Guitar-516403-i1392331.gc That is the 25th anniversary model. Mine is a cedar top, wild cherry back and sides with the cutaway and Godin QII electronics. About the 100.00 cheaper. You simply can't go wrong with a Seagull.

Does search work?

It is really just not a very good search engine. I will do some experimenting with it and see if I can make it work better. In the meantime though, Buddy's suggestions works GREAT. That is why I added the "Google" search function a while back. Give it a try and I think you'll like it. -
OK folks, long ago I had implemented restrictions on how large signature pictures can be. The HUGE signatures eat up a ton of bandwidth and can really slow down a forum. The restriction got lost at some point during an upgrade. I have now re-implemented this feature and sig pictures now now not exceed 150 pixels tall. If you find that your sig is now cropped, you will just have to redo it.
-
Yea, that is way to big for a sig picture. I thought I had limits in place so that wouldn't be possible but I must have lost them in an upgrade. I'll have to reset them.

I used to raise Schnauzers and have never seen one that color. Not saying there aren't any but I've never seen one. I don't quite see German Shepherd either though, a little bit but not 100%. Whatever he is, I agree he is a cute pup and should grow up to be a nice dog.

Yes...did it work?

There is no way that we can know for sure but the seller sounded honest and sincere to me. I will give him the benefit of the doubt. -
We decided a long time ago to get rid of it but when I do an update, I often forget to remove it again. That is what Thom440 was talking about and then I removed it again.

OK folks...I found the glitch with the favorite smilies box and got it corrected. What else do you see that is not working correctly? I think that the "who is in chat" is broken and I'm looking at that problem now. Anything else?

OK folks, I need to update the software due to a couple of newly discovered security issues. I am starting now. I will try to be as disruptive as possible but you will probably see a couple of glitches for a few minutes...or hours...or...uh.....years.....

My preference is the Clearview shield but it has nothing to do with the vent. The next Clearview that I buy will be ordered without the vent. I like the vented shields but I personally think that the round vents that are easily installed at home are much better than the Goldwing style vents used by Clearview. My preference for the Clearview is because of the material that they use. Most shields are made from Lexan which has a hard coating to help prevent scratches. The downside is that they DO still get scratched and if you polish out the scratches, you polish off the hard coating and then they scratch very easily. Clearview does not use the coating and you can polish out any scratches with no problem. You also don't have to worry about using RainX and similar products on them because those products won't turn them yellow as they will if you use them on a coated shield. I've had my Clearview on the '99 since '99. It is a great shield. I WISH it would get scratched up or something because I would like to try one of their new swept back styles but it looks like it is going to last forever. -
Well, the pond may be history soon. Eileen and I are really close to coming to the decision to put this place on the market. We are both thinking that it's time to downsize to a small yard and a smaller mortgage payment. I'm not getting any younger and we are thinking more all the time about our financial security as retirement looms closer all the time. So....maybe I won't need it.
-
Now THAT is what I need. I have managed to pretty much stay out of the pond this year though. My secret is that I now use a push mower to make a couple of passes around the pond before using the rider.

It can be mounted. Eddie has one on his bike and it looks great. It IS too expensive for me though.
