  1. RomTom, WOW...first post and I must say it was a great one. There is some very good wisdom in your words and I'm glad you took the time to share it all with us. I've never yet reached a time when I have had to consider that it was time to stop riding but I know that the day will probably come. I hope that I have the smarts that you do and know when it is time but also not allow it to come too soon. I'm glad that you have joined us and will pray that your health and strength continue to improve. Don
  2. No problem Brad. Like Kent said, there is no way that we can please everybody. Our only hope is to do what is best for the majority. That is what I'll do when I figure out what that is in this case. No big deal. You know the old saying...you can please all the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time but you can't please all the people all the time and you can't please some of the people any of the time and many of the people none of the time and none of the people many many times and....wait a minute.......I don't think that was right.
  3. Don't know why but I received an email from Padre asking that I remove his membership and have done so.
  4. Well, the new IE 8 is supposedly more compliant with standard protocols so I downloaded and installed the beta version this morning in hopes that they had corrected this issue. No such luck....IE 8 doesn't properly wrap the lines either. Kent is absolutely correct on this one, Firefox or Opera is the way to go with browsers. I personally gave up on IE long ago.
  5. Yes, it happens all the time. You have to login to your hotmail account. If you try to post pics right from there to hear, none of us are logged into your account so we can't see them.
  6. It is now optimized for 1024 x 768 pixels. What resolution are you running Pegscraper?
  7. There you go. Let's see if this is any better.
  8. I think I got it corrected. I had to modify the code a bit and the problem will be, as you say, remembering what I did and doing it again anytime I upgrade the software. I may actually have it set a bit narrow now. Let me know. Don
  9. Thanks...it is MUCH appreciated. Sometimes I think that donation button is invisible.
  10. Kent, I think you have nailed it. I use Firefox and am running the same screen resolution that Brad is. I do not have to scroll on that thread. BUT....if I view the same thread with IE7, I do have to scroll. As you say, IE is not splitting the lines like other browsers do.
  11. LOL.....that was great. Thanks and a happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
  12. 11 out of 20 here. I think though that I have seen it before and apparently didn't learn much.
  13. His elevator goes all the way up but the door never opens.
  14. I think I may have done that a few weeks ago. I'll have to check and make sure but I've not gotten any for a few weeks now.
  15. WOW....if everything were to check out...that sounds like a bargain.
  16. SHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh We must be VEWY QUIET about that.
  17. LOL...the ONLY problem with Facebook is all the emails that I get from very sexy ladies wanting to be my friend. If only I was so wanted in REAL life. Oh well...at least my wife wants me....well...sometimes...well...ONCE upon a time.
  18. VERY nice. Your son did a great job on the design. I all on a lot of Signs by Tomorrow but not in that area. You are right, Gemini makes very nice products. It's great working for a company that cares about quality.
  19. Yea, Diamond R used to make one but they no longer offer it. I used to make one but am no longer doing it either. Rivco is the only company I know of that still makes one and I have heard a couple of instances of them breaking at the welds.
  20. Yea, I have a small amp installed where the cassette player once was. Not sure how much it really helps but I still get too much distortion if I try to crank up the volume. I know that the bass blockers would help but I just feel that we need MORE bass...not block what we have. I'm going to mess with this over the winter and see what I can come up with.
  21. I've tried the Pioneer speakers and now have the Polk speakers in the front but I'm still not happy with the sound. Now I'm thinking about trying to fit a pair of 4 x 6 speakers in the front. Assuming that I can make them work, how much improvement will they be over the stock 4" round speakers? Don
  22. Chrome plated ABS is not just chrome paint. It is truly electroplated. I sold production plating equipment for about 12 years and a lot of it was for plating on plastics. It is done by first copper plating the plastic using an electroless copper process and then electroplating the nickel over the copper and then finally the clear Chromate.
  23. Thanks for all the replies. I got this handled today and deleted the messages just to be safe.
  24. I have now posted the assembly manual that Brad sent to me. Thanks Brad, I think it's a great addition to our tech library. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=275753#post275753
  25. Thanks to BradT for providing us with this manual. This is in .pdf format. RSV Assembly Manual
