  1. Don't know him AND...I don't think you are CAPABLE of being just a bystander.
  2. It should be instant. If you are trying to upload pics, make sure they aren't too big.
  3. Freebird

    It's over

Really don't know what else to say Rod. Words never come easy for me at a time like this. Please know that you are in our prayers and we do truly care.
  4. I think that the only difference in the coils is the length of the plug wires. If somebody really wanted to carry a spare, you could just get the one with the longer wire and then use it on any of them if you had to. I don't think I would worry about carrying a spare though. Even if you lose a coil it's not like you are going to be stranded on the side of the road.
  5. I agree with it taking about 45 minutes. Not a big job.
  6. hmmmm.....you really ARE new here. You probably should have done more reading before replying. Actually, no medals have yet been awarded and no official thanks have yet been given but I can assure you that they will be.
  7. Well...I agree that half is a stretch but it's not hard to buy one for close to $10,000.00 less. A lot of folks here have bought new RSVs for somewhere around $14,000.00. New Ultra Classics will run in the $23,000.00 range.
  8. That does look nice. Very good job.
  9. Too loud for me. I think they are among the best out there in regards to quality. Very nicely made. Integrated heat shield covers the clamps. I had them for about a year but found them too loud especially when riding in the mountains and etc. where the sound would echo off the canyon walls. I finally just went back to stock. They are great mufflers though. I sometimes wish I had kept them and used them when around home and could have swapped to stock for longer trips.
  10. I'll be it was a test on the same engine we are all running.
  11. Just be REALLY careful. I see in your post that you are aware of the possibility but I've seen several front fenders dented because of it. They front forks can sometimes compress a lot more than people realize.
  12. I posted a link in this thread. [ame=http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=365356#post365356]plug and play venture amp. - VentureRider.Org[/ame]
  13. OOPS...sorry about that. I was remember something that I never did. OK...another thing you can do. Go to the Full List. Then on the right, under search, click on Advanced. That will give you a page where you can search by country and many other ways.
  14. Click "Search" in the menu bar and type in Bazooka. You will find a couple of threads about it. Here is the main one I think. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35681&highlight=Bazooka
  15. You can already bring up Canada, USA, or Other. There are so few "Other" that I don't think it takes long to go through them.
  16. GREAT deal...but I do the same thing with my leaf blower.
  17. I went ahead and moved it. Hopefully this will make it easier for folks to find and continue to enjoy.
  18. I've got one but unfortunately, it has two large round holes in it where I removed the vents and put in my newer shield. Plus, I won't be home until tomorrow evening.
  19. It IS a nice bike. The problem is, I travel so much that I just don't have time to keep a first gen running.
  20. I'm really not surprised about the Kawasaki. The few people that I know that have actually ridden one were not too impressed. One of our newer members called me a couple of weeks ago, wish I could remember who it was, but he had bought one and after one trip, he and his wife absolutely hated it. He finally found a dealer that really wanted it and traded it for a RSV.
  21. That is truly a beautiful trike. I will probably do that some day but it's a few years off. Great job.
  22. OK....let me know how much and I'll send you a PayPal. Mr. Copus will reimburse me anyway. No hurry, I doubt I'll mess with it until we get back from the rally.
  23. They don't show a price but they say $20.00 minimum order. How much was it? Don
  24. Where did you get the fuse block? I think I need to put a new one on Mr. Copus' '89.
  25. I'm really sorry that it turned out well and so quickly. Those are scary times. I've got an ex-wife that I was worried about for a while after the divorce but she finally just disappeared and left me to raise my son.
