  1. Dan, I'll bet that if you ask, most of those bars do stock at least one NA beer. I know that a lot of them keep O'Douls on hand. It is probably the most common as it is made by Budweiser.
  2. WOW...LIVER AND ONIONS....FANTASTIC. I actually do love it. I also drink WAY too much coffee.
  3. They are out there. Most of the time you find them right beside the regular beer. Unlike Buddy, I LOVE the taste of beer. I have tried several NA brews and just have never found one that tastes really good. I could care less about the buzz and would be completely happy with a great tasting NA beer.
  4. Well...you asked so here is my opinion. I think you are over reacting. Alcohol evaporates very quickly when used to cook with. Many dishes are prepared with wine, cooking sherry, beer, etc. I have eaten many foods prepared with all the above and have never really left with the taste or effects of them.
  5. I'm waiting on the Yamaha V6. 250 HP. I know they can do it, just needs a bit of tweaking for our use. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard/05pi/f250/05pi.aspx
  6. Personally, I think they are fairly equal. I've had my Craftsman for about 4 years now with no problems.

    Ahhhhh

Here you go. We caught so many fish that we actually got tired of catching them. http://www.picantesportfishing.com/?gclid=CICVpID0s54CFaM45QodS23upA

    Ahhhhh

Wish I was there with you. I've visited Cabos once time for a Marlin Fishing trip. Fantastic fishing. If you decide to do so, there was a service there named Picante Fishing Charters and they were fantastic.
  9. I've heard a couple of people mention that they scraped the stand in a left lean. I'm not sure how that happened unless the stand was not all the way up. My bike does not have the AIS system on it and that may be why. The AIS will prevent it from going up completely if you don't reverse the bracket on the AIS. I've drug my floorboards and my mufflers (before adding the leveling links) and never drug the stand.
  10. They come standard on the RSTD but not on the RSV. I like them. I bought a complete set of mufflers from a RSTD complete with the tips a few years ago off Ebay. The RSV mufflers are the same except they are not drilled and tapped for the tips. Several people have bought just the tips though and drilled and tapped their stock RSV mufflers. The set in our classifieds are a great price if he still has them.
  11. I saw an article on them a few months ago but have never seen or heard them in person. I actually thought about trying to make something like them a few years ago but it is one of those many things that I just never got around to. I love the concept though. My thought was to do something like the Baron's 2 into 4 setup but have one on each side loud and the other baffled with some sort of manual gate/flapper to change between loud and quiet. I don't THINK it would be that hard to do.
  12. I'm sure it was an honest mistake and it's not the first time that it has happened. I merged the two threads. One was in first gen tech talk and the other second gen tech talk. I merged them and then moved the merged thread to General Tech Talk. That should cover it.
  13. I think that your price is very reasonable for the stock seat and CHEAP for the Corbin.
  14. This one was 15 lbs. I think you are right. Maybe my fryer is just bigger than most. Heard of it but have never tried it.
  15. I like most everything but my favorite is always the dressing with Giblet gravy. Eileen is a great cook and does most everything. I make the Giblet gravy and this year smoked a turkey. Then we had all the old standards, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans with bacon, cranberry something or another....lots of other stuff but I don't even remember it all.
  16. OK folks...those of you who fry turkeys, where do you get your oil? I have a turkey fryer and planned to fry it this year. The last time I fried one was several years ago. I put the turnkey in the fryer and filled it with water and determined that I would need about 7 gallons of oil. A 3 gallon jug of peanut oil was $28.00 at Walmar. I would have needed 2 of those plus another gallon so probably at least $70.00 worth of oil that would be used one time and then thrown away. Heck with that. I ended up smoking it and it turned out really good. So.....how much do YOU spend on oil?
  17. It was just brought to my attention that Don Brechun, username DonB, passed away in September. This is the first I've heard of this and was very sorry to hear the news. If anybody has any details, please let us know. Our prayers go out to all his friends and family. Don was from Windsor, ON, Canada.
  18. Well it may be cleared up again for now. I'm no longer getting the bounced emails. Hopefully you Yahooer's are getting your notifications again.

    New imac

To each his or her own but just to give the other side of the story, not EVERYBODY likes the Mac. I bought into the hype several years ago and bought an IMac. Probably had it for about a year before I realized that I truly hated it. Never gave up my PC but used the Mac often enough to make sure it wasn't just because I hadn't gotten used to it. The fact is, I simply hated pretty much everything about it and it finally ended up being just an ugly paper weight. Sold it and was glad to see it go.
  20. I suppose that is indeed possible. I'll take a look. I don't THINK there is a way that I can do a mass deactivation of email reminders for those folks and it will take me FOREVER to do each one manually. I'll look though. Maybe I can figure out a way.
  21. Once again, Yahoo is blocking all email from VentureRider.org. When they notice a lot of email coming from a particular site, they assume it is spam. This is the second time they have done this. I emailed them before to let them know that any email that is sent from VentureRider.org is only that which is requested from their customers. We have a triple opt in system here. 1. A user has to register at VentureRider.org. 2. A user has to confirm that they are the one that registered by clicking a link in the confirmation email. 3. In order to received further emails such as notification to replies to posts, notifications that they have received a private message, etc. They must go to their UserCP and select to be notified of those events. I sent Yahoo an email the last time this happened and explained that to them but I simply got a canned response back saying that the ban would be temporary and restored in a few days. There is really nothing more that I can do. If it is important to you that you receive your email notifications, I can only recommend that you use somebody other than Yahoo for your email. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  22. I'm in for a couple of black ones also.
  23. Haven't had it and don't want it but did find this step by step solution. Don't know if it will work for you or not. http://www.whatthetech.com/2009/09/03/how-to-remove-windows-anti-virus-pro/
  24. San Diego is great year round. Maybe the best climate in the USA as far as I'm concerned. The only problem is that it is too crowded for my taste. South Texas has nice winter weather and not nearly as crowded.
  25. If you make them 1/2 inch longer, that is going to lower your bike a lot. Is that what you are after?
