You should receive an automatic email notification. I think that the earliest start expiring at the end of April so everybody still has plenty of time.

We've been lucky so far. Only a slight dusting at this time. My snow removal equipment is an old John Deere with a blower. It is a '71 model with a 10 HP Kohler engine but it does a great job. This is from last year.

Sounds good to me. Handle it however you like and just let me know if you need me to do anything.

From what I can tell in going through the database, here is how they turned out. BigTom - 11.99 Ronhenry4 - 9.26 Kbran - 16.11 Oldgoat - 21.00 It appears that all auctions were for the same items.
-
Looks like the winners were: Ronhenry Kbran Big Tom Oldgoat You should have all received an email stating that you were the winner and how much your winning bid was for.

NEWBIE Tech Questions
Freebird replied to rumboogy's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
That's why I really hate it when any photos to the tech library are linked from elsewhere. Upload them HERE and they will be here when needed. -
Kent, If you want me to, I can create a "read only" forum named FAQS that only you can post in. That way it won't get cluttered with responses and etc. and the answers will be easier to find.

Sorry folks...I've really been out of pocket this week. I'm sitting at the Minneapolis airport right now waiting on my flight home in about another hour. I'll try to dig into the database tomorrow and get a list of the winners. BUT...if you got an email saying that you won, then that's really enough. It looks like Ron Henry was a winner as was oldgoat. How many auctions were there?
-
Yep, I've got to agree with Ross on this one.

I agree. I used to change my oil all the time and still do on the bike. For the cars though, I just no longer feel like crawling under them. I am lucky that I have a very good Midas in Oberlin, OH right up the road. I'm not endorsing Midas in general as there are likely good ones and bad ones but this one is fantastic. They do great work, are very thorough, have never tried to rip me off and their prices are very reasonable. I've been using them for about 6 or 7 years now and they have had no turnover in employees. I know them by name and they know me by name. It is nice when you can take your vehicles to a place and have complete confidence that things will be done correctly.

Primarily because Yamaha refuses to acknowledge that we exist. Well....Yamaha USA at least. Yamaha Canada actually has supported us by coming to our rally in Kitchener and were really fantastic. Yamaha USA really doesn't seem to like any group that allows honest and open discussion that includes any criticism of their products. That being said, I can tell from the server logs that they do snoop around here from time to time so I know that they do see the suggestions and etc.

I wish I could but these meetings make that impossible. They pick us up at the airport, shuttle us straight to the company resort and we are there in meetings until they shuttle us back to the airport on Friday. I WISH.
-
Not completely gone, but limited access. Will check in when I can. I have to fly to Minneapolis tomorrow and then drive to the company resort near Hayward, WI for our semi-annual sales meeting. They do have WIFI there but only in the lodge, not in the cabins so I can only check in quickly once or twice a day. Will be returning very late Friday night. Hope you all have a great week and remember me while I am there getting my semi-annual attitude adjustment.
-
Sure wish I could have been there. Even though we still see you on here from time to time, we still miss you Jeff. As for being sexy? hmmm.....I've gotta say...you never were really my type.

I worked on it for you. Seems to b e OK now.

I don't know about supporting those hitches but I'm pretty sure that they still sell the pin to replace a standard ball. Probably best to just contact them directly to be sure. http://www.bushtec.com/contact.html I do know that Bushtec is under new ownership. When I contacted Andrew Preston last year about buying a trailer for our grand prize, he told me that the Preston family had sold the company but he has stayed on as general manager.
-
The Bushtec hitch comes with the pin welded on. They also sell just a pin though that replaces the ball on a standard stinger. That is what you will want if you already have a hitch.
-
Yes, I agree with you. They should be the same for your bike as in that post. Mine is an RSV and they are a bit different I think. Maybe one of our RSTD owners will chime in here and offer some more assistance. I'm like you though, I can't imagine that you would have to grind on anything.
-
Something doesn't sound right. It's been several years since I installed mine but I never had to grind anything. Shouldn't be necessary. Are you SURE they sent you the correct kit?
-
I've never seen one but it's pretty darn cool.
-
I think this is a great idea but some of the things being mentioned are already well documented in the tech library.

HEY...NOT FAIR. OK....let's start a new tradition. It will be call a "NO RIDE SYMPATHY DAY" and will be dedicated to of of us who are stuck in the nasty northern winter areas. NOBODY will be allowed to ride on the "NO RIDE SYMPATHY DAY".

Really am sorry to hear the news. It is never a good time but this is especially a bad time. Please let her know that she is in our thoughts and prayers.
