  1. I agree about Susan Tedeschi. I've got two of her CDs. Another one that I like that is not so common is Beth Hart.
  2. Add me to the list of fans also. There was just something special about the way she belted out those tunes.
  3. Sorry my friend, I should have let you know. YES...I received mine and they are GREAT. I will wear them proudly. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
  4. Ron, Our thought and prayers are certainly going out to you at this difficult time. Please know that when one of our members here hurt, we hurt with you. Also, please do not continue to second guess yourself about if you had gotten there sooner and etc. Things happen that we do not understand and cannot explain but the fact is that the Lord chose to take them at that time for a reason and they are looking down on you now and they know your heart. It is obvious that you were a good friend to them and they know that very well. Take care my friend. May the Lord bless and comfort you during this difficult time.
  5. Yea, but I'll bet she didn't get in trouble and you were indeed here hero for the day. Great story and you are a good person for helping her out.
  6. Well...I don't have a ton of money but I also like to help others when I can. Just a few bucks here and there but I always feel great when I can do it. Good job Dennis, good people can make a huge difference in the lives of others.
  7. There is surely something wrong. Specs call for 110 ft.lbs. and I always torque mine to that. Never a problem. One other thing to check is the bushing that goes into the hub next to the wheel bearing. Make sure you don't have it in backwards but I don't think that will bind it up.
  8. I would be embarrassed to tell you. Not even sure I know. I have it set up so that I get all posts by email. I read them all and then login and reply to some of them. I also actually log in ... let's just say several times a day. It varies depending upon where I am because I travel every week.
  9. I can tell you this for a fact. None of our faithful members here will EVER be denied full membership due to any type of financial hardship. All they have to do is send me a private message.
  10. For MP3, I use my Zumo 550. I also have an IPOD that I can use if we want to. I highly recommend the Ipod NANO. My wife's is 16GB and that holds a LOT of music. My phone also has an 8GB chip for MP3 but I seldom use it for that.
  11. Yes, one is hidden in the lowers.
  12. 12 months from your join date.
  13. Eileen is 21. That's her story and I'm sticking to it.
  14. You should receive an automatic email notification. I think that the earliest start expiring at the end of April so everybody still has plenty of time.
  15. We've been lucky so far. Only a slight dusting at this time. My snow removal equipment is an old John Deere with a blower. It is a '71 model with a 10 HP Kohler engine but it does a great job. This is from last year.
  16. Sounds good to me. Handle it however you like and just let me know if you need me to do anything.
  17. From what I can tell in going through the database, here is how they turned out. BigTom - 11.99 Ronhenry4 - 9.26 Kbran - 16.11 Oldgoat - 21.00 It appears that all auctions were for the same items.
  18. Looks like the winners were: Ronhenry Kbran Big Tom Oldgoat You should have all received an email stating that you were the winner and how much your winning bid was for.
  19. That's why I really hate it when any photos to the tech library are linked from elsewhere. Upload them HERE and they will be here when needed.
  20. Kent, If you want me to, I can create a "read only" forum named FAQS that only you can post in. That way it won't get cluttered with responses and etc. and the answers will be easier to find.
  21. Sorry folks...I've really been out of pocket this week. I'm sitting at the Minneapolis airport right now waiting on my flight home in about another hour. I'll try to dig into the database tomorrow and get a list of the winners. BUT...if you got an email saying that you won, then that's really enough. It looks like Ron Henry was a winner as was oldgoat. How many auctions were there?
  22. Yep, I've got to agree with Ross on this one.
  23. I agree. I used to change my oil all the time and still do on the bike. For the cars though, I just no longer feel like crawling under them. I am lucky that I have a very good Midas in Oberlin, OH right up the road. I'm not endorsing Midas in general as there are likely good ones and bad ones but this one is fantastic. They do great work, are very thorough, have never tried to rip me off and their prices are very reasonable. I've been using them for about 6 or 7 years now and they have had no turnover in employees. I know them by name and they know me by name. It is nice when you can take your vehicles to a place and have complete confidence that things will be done correctly.
  24. Primarily because Yamaha refuses to acknowledge that we exist. Well....Yamaha USA at least. Yamaha Canada actually has supported us by coming to our rally in Kitchener and were really fantastic. Yamaha USA really doesn't seem to like any group that allows honest and open discussion that includes any criticism of their products. That being said, I can tell from the server logs that they do snoop around here from time to time so I know that they do see the suggestions and etc.
  25. I LOVE the Edsets. Best I've ever used.
