Seems like summer just blew by. We didn't do much of anything that we had planned. It's been a hard time the past few months. My prayer is that Eileen gets to feeling better and we can look forward to a brighter future.

That's a tough question and really just comes down to how you intend to use the bike. With a passengers, the Venture is the hands down winner in my opinion. Much more comfortable for the passenger. -

I test rode one of those the same week I bought my new RSV in ‘99. Almost bought it but the seating position of the RSV was better for me. Nice bike.

Such sad news. A long time member but even more importantly, a good friend to many of us. Rest in peace my friend, I pray for his wife and family. All good people.

It is with great sadness that I report that Gil Fisher has passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was a good friend to me and many others in our VentureRider family. Rest in Pease and Godspeed my friend.

Sure brings back the looks of the old Triumphs and BSAs. They should have put a kick start on it for nostalgia.

I"ve tagged @dfitzbiz on this post so he will see it. Not sure that his problem is the solution though. You say there are no leaks but there would be if it was the same issues as his corrects. That being said, you mention that you just bought the bike. It is possible that all the oil had already leaked out and the bike had been cleaned at some point.
