LOL.....it may be a bit cool for that. Most direct route is about an hour. She wants me to get home quick so she can hopefully take e a little ride before it gets too cold. Temps are supposed to drop again after tomorrow.

I understand. My wife hasn't ridden with me in q while except a couple of very short rides. Her health hasn't been good but she has wanted her own trike for a while now and got really excited about getting one a month or so ago. So I finally saved in and bought her one. Not sure how long before she decides it's not doable but we'll see.

It was 33 degrees today so I told them we would pick it up Wednesday when it’s supposed to be in the 50’s. I hope it is because she wants me to ride it home. About an hour away.

Eileen has been on my back for several weeks about a trike for HER. She finally wore me down so we went shopping. I wasn't really against it but just worry that her health will keep her from riding but she turned an old argument that I have used a few times about my bucket list right around on me. So, Eileen is now the rider of a 2017 Harely Freewheeler,. M8 107 engine. Pretty stock except for some custom grips and the luggage rack. 13,000 miles.

That is my opinion.

OK folks, the winner ofd the bell, patch, and decal is none other than Sleepy2. Congrats.
-
I don’t think so. The conversion is done because it is said to improve handling. My only experience with it was on a trike and it definitely improved handling. Did not lower the front. I think the handling difference is a combination of a narrower tire and less weight.
-
Sorry. You’ve got me mixed up with somebody else. I’ve never run a car tire.
-
lol. That’s not fair. My current ride. The picture was taken right after I brought ir home. I've added a few small things like riders backrest, highway pegs, Clearview windshield, etc. since then.

We'll let this one run for about a week. Lets say Saturday the 17th around noon.
-
OK folks, I'm going to do another give away. This is for a new VentureRider Guardian Bell. These have been sold out for a while and there is not enough demand to re-order due to the minimum quantity required. But I ran across one and decided to give it away here.. This one is easy enough. Simply post a picture of your current bike and you will be entered in the random drawing. EDIT: I'm going to also throw in a VentureRider small patch and a VentureRider domed decal.

Hope the surgeries are a complete success. We will miss you if you leave. Take care my friend.

Jay, Steve Wagner passed away several years ago. That’s why they are getting rare. Somebody else may need to weigh in but there are little eyes molded in on the back. If I remember correctly, you just insert nylon ties through them.
-
OK...a bit late but we have a winner. The lucky witnner is Ragtop. Congratulations.
-
We will keep her, and you, in our prayers. I’m thankful for that deer.
-
OK folds. I'm going to give this until noon this Saturday and then radically pick a winner. So if you want a chance win, make sure you reply soon.

A lot of people love them. I always wanted to try one but never did. Very nice.

I know that many people install Harley touring mufflers on their bikes. This is just a heads up. for you. Many may already know this but the mufflers off the newer Harley bikes will NOT work on the RSV. My 2022 Road Glide Limited has the M8 114 motor. I started looking for a set for Vance and Hines Monster Rounds for it and learned that the older mufflers will not fit the M8 motor. The reason is that the M8 has different size inlets on the left vs. the right side. So, if you are looking to add the Harely mufflers to your bike, just know that the M8 mufflers will not fit. I think the M8 came out in 2016.

No longer available. I’ll see if I can find another program.

IIt's been a while since we've had a contact of any kind. Everybody enjoys a chance to win something and it helps spur converfstaionn here. So here's the deal. I have a very nice Wager Radiator Grill Guard. It is black but can easily be painted if you prefer. it. So how do. you win? I'm glad you asked. I think that everybody knows that Yamaha has exited the big cruiser/touring market. So where does that leave you? I know that many aren't riding as much as you used to. I also know that there are a lot of die hard Venture riders here. So the question isimple. What are you. now riding? With no new Ventures being made, will you. just retire from riding after your correct bike is doesn't and out. Will you. look for a nice used Venture or go to another brand,. What brand will you go to? Basically, what are your plans moving forward. The winner will be selected by. a random draw of anybody. who posts in response to this. The grill. guard will. work. on any '99 - 2013 Royal Star Venture so if you ride something else, you could always sell it or whatever you wish. The Wagner Grill Guards are getting hard to come by and are a great addition to your bike. As an afterthought, I'll offer one other option. If you. ride another bike or simply don't need the grill guard, you. willl have the option to.choose a brand new VentureRider cap. Available only in black. So, that'about it. GO.

I did find a similar one on Amazon. About 650.00. I would bet that one is a scam.
-
I saw an ad got it on Facebook a few days ago. Looks good but most ads on Facebook are indeed scams. I won’t touch it. I have seen ads on Facebook and then gone to Amazon and found the products.

I've never developed a taste for cigars but I think it would be a fun venue to all get together. So, I would be interested.
