I'm doing OK. Still not 100%. Had an MRI done a couple of weeks ago and have a Doctor's appointment on Tuesday to discuss the results but I don't see anything really bad.

I actually agree with you. That is one thing that they could have done a much better job with. Maybe it will be better when I get REALLY familiar with them but there are a lot of switches to remember without any lighting.

Thanks for posting the pic and congrats again. Hope you enjoy the cap.

30 minutes of no activity.

Just did some testing and that is correct. I didn't realize that he wasn't logged in. Only logged in members can see signatures and most other things. I just logged out and I got the same messages and blank photos in the signatures.

I looked back at your posts for several days and they all include your complete signature on my end. I believe you but just don't know what caused it. There has been, and continues to be, some updates being done by our hosting provider for some of the server software. That may have had something to do with it.

I'm not sure what you mean. Your signature picture and the tag line seems to be showing ok.

Very nice. Never owned one but have ridden one and liked it.

You made it. OK FOLKS. The contest is officially over. I am getting ready to pull the number of the lucky winner. Back soon.

Well, time is running out to get your entry in. If you haven't posted to this thread, you are not entered. Drawing will be held tomorrow morning.

It was brought to my attention that the member map was not working again. Google keeps changing the requirements for an API key for the maps. I have got it working again for now. We'll see how long it last this time. Not sure it's that big a deal. Not sure how long it had not been working because I seldom click on it.

Actually, there are some pictures and a lot of information in this thread. https://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?34281-removed-cassette-added-gauges-done/page15

We lost a lot of pictures a few years ago during an update. Post some of the links that are missing and I can likely restore them.

You got it my friend. Sounds fantastic and hope its turns out to be everything you wanted. Be sure to post pics of the new place at some point.

Got a response from Bill Morphy when I sent out the contest email. Looks like he is finally hanging it up. I had the MicMutes on my second gens and really liked them. If you think you might like one, you better do it quickly. Nice to hear from you again. I haven't been a board member for some time now, and I think that I should be disqualified from the contest. But thanks non the less. I still have my Gold Wing but I hardly ride anymore. I haven''t followed the changes to the Venture over the years and I don't know what year models Mic-Mutes would be applicable. The Gold Wing went to a bluetooth system in 2017 making Mic-Mutes obsolete. I suspect that the recent years of the Venture is probably the same? Since I'm not on the board any longer would you mind posting a message? I'm going to close up my business. I will be soon turning off my website and closing my Paypal and business bank accounts to end selling Mic-Mutes. I'd like to get the word out if there might be anyone interested in Mic-Mutes. I have a limited inventory available and in the next couple off weeks there won't be any way for me to sell it off. I will be available for warranty repairs and tech support afterwards, but I won't be selling anything. Thanks Bill Morphy www.Mic-Mutes.com

It's been a long time since we had any type of contest here. So....we are having one now. Final day for entry will be Sunday October 13 at 9:00 AM. The contest is open to all SUPPORTING MEMBERS who simply reply to this thread. I'm going to send an email to all members in just a few minutes to let everybody know. You must be a supporting member before the end of contest in order to be eligible. There are a lot of members that we haven't heard from in a while so what I want to see in the responses is simply how you are doing, what you are riding or if you are still riding, just something to let us know that you are still around. We want to hear from you. So, whether you post everyday or haven't posted in a while, please respond to this message. The winner will be drawn randomly from all the people who reply to this message. Winner will receive a brand new VentureRider cap.

Not the bikes for me but there are quite a few K1600 BMWs on Facebook Marketplace in my area. Ranging in price from $6500.00 to around $14500.00. Many of them with 3500 to 14000 miles on them.

RSTD front brake part number
Freebird replied to revpat's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I'm not sure which one you are talking about but here is a parts diagram of the front brake caliper. https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/yamaha/motorcycle/1996/royal-star-tour-classic-xvz13ath/front-brake-caliper Taking another look at your pictures, I don't think the parts diagram shows what your are asking. Hopefully somebody else can chime in. My thought would be that their would only be an O-Ring on one side but I'm not 100% sure. -
Electric. Digital. Computerized. Throttle Body Sync
Freebird replied to Du-Rron's topic in Watering Hole
LOL...that would certainly explain it. Hard to sync ONE throttle body. -

This post got me thinking about the 'SVTC. I looked through the manual and found nothing about syncing the throttle bodies. Will look again but I looked pretty good. -

Just looked it up and it is indeed for injected or carbonated bikes. Looks good.
