  1. I agree that the 938 is a fantastic bun. I have one and love it. I also have P365 though and carry it more due to it's smaller size and higher capacity. Both great guns.
  2. Just saw this on Facebook. Says just over 12,000 miles. Been parked a few years and not running. I'm sure there's not much wrong with it. Several nice options including driving lights, luggage rack, rear spoiler, drivers backrest, etc. It's in Jackson, MI and he's asking 1500.00. If somebody doesn't go buy it, I will. That's a bargain. I don't need it so please save me. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/640266899954430/
  3. It has been my experience on three separate RSVs that the Speedometer and Odometer are both off but not by the same percentage. On all three of the ones that I've owned, the Speedo was off about 10% while the Odometer was off about 4% if I remember correctly.
  4. Yes, the hitch from an '86 should work fine on your bike.
  5. I actually did add the new module. I first did it after adding the VMax rear end because the lower gears were causing me to hit the rev limiter way too soon. I added the module and raised the redline to 7250, I think it was. It made a huge difference. Loved it.
  6. Great price either way but I don't think it's the TC. May be, but doesn't say so and I doubt it.
  7. Received mine earlier this week. Mounted it and ran the wires into the fairing and also tied into the power port on the Ultra Classic. Haven't ridden yet but test it and it charges with eh USB as well as the wireless charger. My one little complaint so far is that the mounts is a bit loose where the ball is molded into he back of the mount. It is a bit sloppy. It would probably not matter on the Venture but will likely shake around a bit on the Harley. I may end up putting some epoxy on the back but will wait and see if it seems to need it.
  8. If you don't find it, let ke know. I have a spare RSV when out ion the barn, I'll check to see if there part is there.
  9. It appears that the tires has to be removed to install these. Am I correct? And @luvmy40. What T Fittings are you talking about?
  10. I'm sure that most of you remember when we got hammered with spammers for a few days. I had a hard time getting it under control. We still get some but I manage to catch most and ban them before they ever post. What they were doing though is signing up, immediately posted tons of spam links, then were gone. It was during that time that I added the minimum post requirement before uploading attachments. Though I still check for and ban a couple of spammers every day, most never have an opportunity to post anything at all. Therefore, though IU am not ready to completely disable the minimum post requirement, I have, just now, decreased it from 20 to 10. Hopefully that will help some for now.
  11. You are probably b both right but I've already ordered the stuff so will give it a try.
  12. Anybody here ever painted their whitewall tires black? The Ultra Classic has almost brand new tires but they are whitewall and I am not a fan. I ordered some tire paint to paint them black. The reviews are great but I've never tried it before. Just wondering if any of you have? I'll let you know how it turns out after I get it. https://www.millertire.com/products/tire-supplies/tire-paint/1-quart-black-tire-paint/
  13. Yea, Massilon is what I meant. It used to be somewhere else but I can't remember where. I went to the old place a couple of times and have been to the new one a couple of times. They are good at what they do. Videoing the bikes before tearing them down and then having everything cataloged and on the shelves. Pretty nice operation.
  14. You got it looking very good. I assume you are talking about Pinwall's in Manfield? I've been there a few times. Nice people.
  15. Sad indeed. If the driver of the car was indeed intoxicated, I hope he never sees the outside of a prison again.
  16. The first link I posted was to the Speedo DRD. On my first '99, I used the speedohealer. The next ones I used the DRD. It worked every bit as well and it considerably cheaper.
  17. I had that issue on a '99. I think I had overtightened the clamp and it caused the boot to slip off. Ran like crap until I figured it out.
  18. No problem. That would have saved me some bucks but I got these at a decent price, more than half off new and they look new. Now that I have them on though, I think that they may have removed some of the packing. I've got to pull the packing and take a look. Easy to repack if that is the case.
  19. I'll be ready for the rioters that block the freeways. Just give me one of these, mount 3 or 4 50 calibers. Make the puff of gas stronger and pepper spray. I'm ready.
  20. Thanks for the correction. I was't sure which coil it was. I'm fairly sure on the Second Gen that it's number 3. At least I know it's one on the right side. Actually,. it's sort of coming back to me now. The 2nd gen doesn't come with a tach but those of us who added one usually connected it to the front right coil. That is what I was somewhat remembering.
  21. Sorry, I'm not sure about that one. I no longer have a RSV but don't remember the jumpy speedo needle. It may have had it, just don't remember. Hopefully somebody else will jump in.
  22. The tach dropping to zero is the first good clue. I believe the tach gets it's signal from number 3 cylinder, not 100% sure but I think that's the one. It sounds like that cylinder is not firing. These bikes will run great on just 3 cylinders. First thing I would check would be the number 3 coil.
  23. That is normal for the RSTD and the RSV. They all read off by about 5 MPH. Your only option is to buy something like a SpeedoHealer., It allows you to calibrate it. Not sure why Yamaha does that but they are all off. Something like this is what you will need. http://shop.12oclocklabs.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=31&product_id=59 or https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/sh/
  24. I just ordered that one also. Hope it works as stated. We'll see.
  25. The original switch is NOT a temporary push to flash button. It should turn the light on and off. If it is not staying off, then I would say that the switch is bad.
