I just added links in the user profiles to the members images and albums in the Gallery.

It’s all good my friend. The bottom line though is I know I will never please everyone. I’ll continue to try though. Thanks for owning up to it though.

OK...I just turned on signatures on mobile devices. Let me know if you can see them now. I'll probably just leave it on. People who don't want them have the choice of turning them off on their own devices.

It depends. What are you using to view the site? If you are on a computer, you should be able to see them. If you are on a phone or maybe a pad, you can't. I have them turned off on phones and etc. so as not to take up too much screen space. I can turn them on if people prefer.

Click on the arrow beside your username at the upper right. Click on Account Settings. Scroll down until you see "signature" in the left menu. Just delete the [siGPIC} and then add a new one from the editor bar.

I totally. understand. I want to make it clear though. This was not change just for the sake of change. The server software was outdated. The system we were using would not run on the newer software. I had gotten notice from the hosting company that the old PHP software was at "end of life" and was obsolete. That created security issues with the server and I was told I had to update or the site would be taken offline. That's the long and short of it. I completely understand their side of it and my choice was to update the site or take it down. Taking it down was not an option for me.

Well it looks like somebody gave this thread one star so obviously not everyone is happy. Sorry, doing the best I can.

OK...it's amazing how hard it is to add some of these things but I think it's done. Post numbers should be there for you now.

OK folks. Just thought I would update you on the new site. I'm generally happy with it but what's more important is that you are. I think it's an improvement over the dated system that we had been on for many years. For the most part, I am done in regards to functionality. I'm still working daily behind the scenes tweeting some things that most of you won't even notice. There are also still a few things I will be adding over the coming days and weeks but it will take time. I know that there are a few things missing and some of those will likely never be back. One example is the Country and State flags. There just isn't anything available to add those at this time. If it becomes available, I will add them back of course. Writing a special program to add them is outside of my capabilities and it costs a lot to have something specially written. Sorry, it's just not worth the cost for something that is basically just eye candy. I can tell you that I've spend considerable money on all of this already. So, I sincerely hope that you are happy with it so far. I realize there is a little bit of a learning curve but I don't think it is too much and some things are actually easier in my opinion. As always, I am open to your comments and requests. If there is something that you are especially missing, I will try to see what I can do but can't make any promises. A couple of things on my list for the near future is getting our memorials page rebuilt and possibly another classifieds system.

It seems that most people didn't like the "moon" icon for changing the color of the theme so I've removed it. You can still switch between dark and light by going to the bottom of the page, clicking on theme, and choosing the VentureRider Light theme or the VentureRider Dark theme. Your choice is saved when you come back to the site and you can switch back and forth at any time. If you are one that actually did like the "moon", you can select the theme with selector from the theme menu.

You can go to your account settings and restore it.

Most all of your map pins should be in the correct location now.
