  1. Very nice Yamaha Star woman’s motorcycle coat. No rips or stains. Very lightly used. Size medium. Says woman’s size 10-12. These are very hard to come by. Local pickup in Pittsfield Township. 75.00. 12.00 shipping.
  2. Beautiful day here. Unfortunately I worked most of the day. Got home in time to do about a 50 mile ride and then came home and changed the oil in the bike while it was warmed up.
  3. I agree with you for the most part. I used to ride in the winter a lot. Have ridden in snow and single digit temps. I guess I’ve gotten old. That is part of it. The other part though is that often the roads around here get heavilly salted once the weather starts turning bad. I just hate seeing my bike covered in salt.
  4. Just read that Polaris had sold Indian. It will now be a stand-alone company. That tells me that it wasn’t profitable enough or was losing money. Have to wonder how long they will make it. https://www.cyclenews.com/2025/10/article/polaris-sells-indian-motorcycle-to-carolwood-lp/
  5. Believe me. I get it.
  6. Hate to say. it but winter is quickly arriving here in NE Ohio. It was 35 this morning. Still supposed to get to 70 later today so riding is not over but I can feel it coming.
  7. Haven’t tried any of them but here’s some good info. https://www.vikingbags.com/blogs/news/the-10-best-motorcycle-weather-apps-of-2022-for-conventional-riders
  8. Don’t know a lot about the Challenger but it looks great. I’m sure it’s expensive.
  9. I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. I don’t know. I didn’t know that Hanniganv had sold.
  10. Sounds like a great ride. Wish I could have been there.
  11. I certainly couldn’t do it. Especially now but probably never could have.
  12. Sad news. I don’t know what to say. I’m sad, I’m angry, I pray for his family.
  13. It is more or less ok to ride but you’ll get a pogo effect. If it’s just leaking oil, you can repair it.
  14. I considered something like that but in the end, I’m holding on to some hope that Eileen will get better and want to ride with me again.
  15. I, he did not in this case. Just the rubber diaphragm and slipped down.
  16. The brakes on the RSV are not linked. Take a look at this thread.
  17. The brakes on the RSV are not linked.
  18. I’m not sure. Certainly sounds like the new rotor is too thin but could also be other things. You said you bled the brakes but how long since a complete fluid change? At those miles, I would hope that has been done. Other than that, which is the first thing I would try, it could be your master cylinder
  19. I haven’t but know that some members have. Hopefully one of them will see this and help. I don’t know why but Nexxen comes to mind.
  20. Very nice. The day that I bought my first ‘99 Venture off the showroom floor, I reactive a Valk Interstate that morning. It was a difficult decision but the RSV just barely edged it out. They are great bikes.
  21. Here is a thread written by our dear old friend bongobob. Very good information.
  22. Yea. In 2017 Harley made a big change. The inlet on the left and right mufflers are completely different sizes.
  23. Nope. The 2017 - present won’t fit the RSV. They have changed the size of the inputs.
  24. I had a nearly new set of Vance and Hines Torquer 450's on the Harley I traded. Since the new bike takes the same mufflers, I put the original mufflers back one the 22 before I traded it. Put the V&H's on the '25 this morning. Haven't ridden it yet but it sounds good.. IMG_0335.mov
  25. So the 2022 Road Glide Limited is gone. I had strongly been considering saying goodbye to my riding days for some time now. The Road Glide Limited was a great long range touring manchine but now that I've turned 70, it sure was feeling heavy on these. short rides around home. So it was time to let it go. So my riding days are over. But Nay Nay say I. Today I picked up a slightly lighter bike. It is still HEAVY but feels 300 pounds lighter than the limited due to having no tour pack and them lightening the fairing by about 20 lbs. One test ride was all it took and I was sold. It has three factory ride modes. Sport, Rain, and Highway. Plus another one that you can customize to your liking. The salesman told me that in sport mode, Harley has everything dialed up to about 80%. He created a custom mode for me where he set throttle response and everything to 100% and the performance was amazing. It is really too much unless you really want to play hard. I actually put it back into Sports mode and even highway mode on the way home. So what did I buy? A 2025 Harley Road Glide and I have to say I love this thing. It has the new 117 Cu In motor with 105 HP and 130 lbs of torque. It actually feels even stronger. All the modern goodies. ABS, Traction Control, etc. Apple car play, navigation, etc. 12" digital screen that you can customize to your liking. They upgraded the front and rear suspension and added an additional 3 1/2 " travel to the rear. I am just completely impressed with this bike. I got them, to throw in a passenger backrest and a taller "Klock Werks" windshield. Since taking these pictures, I added a riders backrest and the nearly new highway pegs that I took off the '22. I also took the nearly new Vance and Hines mufflers off the '22 and put the stock mufflers on it. The Vance and Hines are the same for this bike also. It is surprisingly loud as is but I''ll probably swap them tomorrow to see how they sound on this bike. I think they had a deeper tone. I went back and forth on the color but ended up buying Iron Horse Metallic.
