Ampmeter don't do anything to the generator! Just lets you know when you have gone beyond the capacity it will produce. Some member was working on a larger capacity unit. Try a Search

I thought he was crazy last year when he took off from the west coast in Jan to ride across Canada. But when he made it, the first to ever do it, I classed hin as a real biker. Most of his trip was under the same conditions.

Which brings to mind this question: If the British are able to make such good tools, not inexpensive-but very good, then why in the world are they incapable to make a good car????!!!!

Just changed the oil on my 03, so took the filter off first. The oil kept running but real slow, so you should be ok to change just the filter. This was on the driveway with the bike on the side stand.
