  1. Worked in the yard some today, mowed up some leaves that had blown around. Cranked up the bike that probably had not run in a month or two and did it all while wearing shorts. It is supposed to be a little warmer tomorrow and may get the bike out and go for a little ride. RandyA
  2. Dave, you will need to let us know when you get down here and we can get together. RandyA
  3. Did any of you with the wobble have Avon Venom tires? RandyA
  4. I think he is talking 2 inches of snow and 4 days off. I think you are suffering from snow blindness. RandyA
  5. Wow, a half century old!!!! I wish I was that age and know what I know now. RandyA
  6. What pressure does the A/C pump run? RandyA
  7. I wish. RandyA
  8. Linda and I thank you very much and did have a great time at dinner. It was good to put a face with a name. I look forward to the opportunity to ride together and to share so many great things to see and experience in this area. If you can learn to live at a bit slower pace, you will enjoy it here. Thanks Squid for your kind words as it means a great deal to us. RandyA
  9. Some times ya just don't know if they are bragging or complaining. Good on both of ya. RandyA
  10. Man, I've got to get the lawnmower fixed. RandyA
  11. The only problem I have ever had with the foot light switch was when the small spring came loose or broke. RandyA
  12. No, I think he flipped up a piece of metal that was in the road and I took his comment about black ice as being oil, but I may be wrong. RandyA
  13. To me, any green coolant is probably good and they are all now designed for aluminum engines. I think I usually Prestone. I have always added distilled water with the antifreeze, but now they are pushing the 50/50 stuff. RandyA
  14. This might be like the hammer story; "This was my great, great, grandfather's hammer and the handle has been replaced twice and the head once, but it is still the same hammer". Hummm... RandyA
  15. Man, how did you deal with all the oil that was dumped out in front of the rear tire? We need more information than this. That could have been real bad. Glad you were not hurt. RandyA
  16. I don't think so as the headers exit the heads differently on the 2nd gen vs the 1st gens. But, I would be interested in what the 4 into 2 headers you are talking abut look like. RandyA
  17. Whatever the reason, we hope everything is going to be ok. RandyA
  18. Going back and looking at MidLifeVenture's site posting, there are now about 6 different drone videos. There is no telling at this time how much bigger of a hole there still is below what we can see here. It is obvious there is still a cave by looking into the holes around the perimeter. This part of the country is known for caves and I don't think it is very far to Mammoth Cave. On another site I go on, this is being discussed and there has been a big discussion about this being a hoax. I can not understand that thinking, but is even in the comments in the noted website. If you look at the 62 Corvette, it looks like the body is curved and bowed. There are at least three or four cars that are completely covered. It will be interesting to see how this will be handled and to see how many of the cars they even try to pull out. RandyA
  19. We just don't make them like we used to. RandyA http://www.wimp.com/crashtest/
  20. A wife was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her husband. Suddenly, her husband burst into the kitchen. 'Careful,' he said, 'CAREFUL! Put in some more butter! Oh my gosh! You're cooking too many at once. TOO MANY! Turn them! TURN THEM NOW! We need more butter. Oh my gosh! WHERE are we going to get MORE BUTTER? They're going to STICK! Careful. CAREFUL! I said be CAREFUL! You NEVER listen to me when you're cooking! Never! Turn them! Hurry up! Are you CRAZY? Have you LOST your mind? Don't forget to salt them. You know you always forget to salt them. Use the Salt! USE THE SALT! THE SALT!' The wife stared at him. 'What in the world is wrong with you? You think I don't know how to fry a couple of eggs?' The husband calmly replied, 'I just wanted to show you what it feels like when I'm freakin' driving!'
  21. Thank you for explaining that. I never was able to get past a word that sounds a lot like "deuce". Randy
  22. I'm sure it is Skid, not only for you and your family, but for those you have worked with for such a long time and your family here. Many here have vicariously lived through you looking so forward to this point in your life, counting the days as they passed along with you. It is a dream for many of us to think about retiring at a young age. Now, you need all that strength that comes with a young age to conquer the challenge you are dealing with now. A phrase from an old timer; "Keep the faith, baby". RandyA
  23. Some very expensive Corvettes are laying in a pile at the bottom of a 40 foot sinkhole. I am posting the best video I have found that even has a drone camera going down into the hole. RandyA http://au.news.yahoo.com/entertainment/a/21433475/sinkhole-collapses-part-of-corvette-museum/
  24. Are you bragging or complaining? RandyA
  25. One night while laying in bed One night, after the couple had retired for the night, the woman became aware that her husband was touching her in a most unusual manner as she was becoming aroused.. The man stopped abruptly and rolled over to his side of the bed. "Why are you stopping darling?" she whispered. He whispered back, "I finally found the remote!"
