Nope, Mine all have Asheville08 and then the picture number . I found them in the "root", but I have yet to figure how to create a folder and transfer them into it. They start at about page 57 or 58 and go for about six pages. I don't know why I am having so much trouble with this. I never did figure how to create a folder I could transfer them to. I tried to create a folder titled AshevilleRandy08 and put them in the 2008 file, but never got that far. RandyA

You can buy anything you want for a 57 Chevy, up to and including a brand new one. RandyA -
I still can not find Asheville08 and what is "in the root"? RandyA

I just spent over an hour loading 136 pictures on Asheville08 and after getting them loaded and going thru the 1st 10 pages naming and making comments, everything went POOF off somewhere in ciberspace. So, I will try again later. Rats!! RandyA

Now you sound like one of "The Village People", which, by the way, look like some of the Harley riders I've seen. RandyA

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing!! RandyA

My main thing is up loading them for those on here to view. I will look at photobucket again, but I did not see where to up load. RandyA

What a terrible thing to read first thing this morning. I wish them well and you would think a cager could see a half dozen bikes in front of him. RandyA

I loaded about 140 pictures of Asheville from my camera to my computer. Where would be the best place to put them to share on here? And how would I do it. I know how to attach to a post, but I do not have a gallery. I looked at photobucket, but did not take the time to try to figure it out. RandyA

I just called Thom440 and he made it back to Florida last night. He said he has not been able to post as he does not have internet yet and has not been able to get a wifi connection anywhere. I was getting a bit worried about him as he is not usually at a loss for words. RandyA

StarRider, it will be interesting to see any answers to your expressed concern. Please keep us posted. RandyA

Kind of a bummer having your bike knocked over by a pickup truck. At least you did not have to get a video of the incident like I did to get them to admit it. I hope it is profitable for you too. RandyA

I have heard that Harley sells more in clothes than in bikes. An old friend of mine I see once or twice a year has several Harleys and has trailered one to Sturgis several times. We were talking about bikes and he admitted that for dependability, you can not beat a Jap bike, but he would not have one. He made the comment that he did not want to offend me, but he stated "You ain't s*** if you don't ride a Harley". I stated "Maybe I don't want to be s***." I think he finally got it. RandyA

Rooster, ya done good!!! What a great time. I would not have changed a thing. RandyA

Steve, it was great to see you at some place besides your basement or Cracker Barrel. I just hope next time you can bring your blond, wife or bike. I guess now you believe me when I say this is a great bunch of folks, not that you didn't before. Steve made a 200 mile round trip in his van just to have supper with us. RandyA

Actually, it took us about two hours to get home and that also included stopping at Waffle House for breakfast. We had a really great Asheville Rally. Lots of good curvy roads, good food, good weather and good friends. The only thing with the weather was this area had three days of record high temps. On our trip to Mt Mitchell, the highest mountain east of the Mississippi, it was 72 degrees on top of the mountain, which was about 10 degrees above normal. It was 82 degrees by the time we came down to the Blue Ridge Parkway and when we dropped off the mountain to Marion, NC, it was 98 degrees. It was hot. When the cool front moved in, we expected rain with it, but did not get it. Our morning temps for the first couple of days was about 70, but on Friday morning it was 53 degrees. Those extra covers in our little camper felt real good. Like most on here, I will post some pictures later. RandyA

Where are you staying in KOA? RandyA

I am still getting info on those coming to Asheville. If you can get it to me by 2pm today, I will still be able to add it. Send it to rsatkins@comcast.net. Use this format as it is quick cut & paste. RandyA Randy & Laura Atkins, RandyA, 423-726-0451/423-335-0852, KOA, Tue evening 423-335-1484 (Brian-son)

I suspect the 86 has a diaphram type spring clutch. If you check other posts, there are cheap fixes that help. RandyA -
We are going to be at site 20 and will be camping in our little camper. We also have more tents and air mattress if anyone wants us to bring them. Since we are fairly close by, we are going to bring the car, trailer and camper and bike. So if you have not made plans and would like to stay at our campsite, just come on down. They are pretty big and there will be plenty of room spread out between us all. Just let me know what you would like me to bring. It won't cost you anything...well, maybe a cold drink. RandyA

As stated, western NC and I want to also add eastern TN. I am about 20 miles from VA and 35 miles from NC. We also do not have a state Income tax and NC is like VA, they like to tax everything. RandyA

Boomer, I would much rather have opened a post with you telling us you were on the way to our Asheville Ralley instead. But, as others have said, heal quick and we wish you the best. Just keep us posted on how you are doing. RandyA

So far I have 16 sets of names compiled. Note: The emergency number is someone back home if they needed to be notified in case of a serious crash, not in case we need to get in touch with you. This format works good as I can do a simple cut & paste; Randy & Laura Atkins, RandyA, 423-726-0451/423-335-0852, KOA, ICE# 423-335-1484 (Brian-son) Arrive Wed morn. My e-mail, rsatkins@comcast.net works good for collecting data. Having this info gives us an idea when you should be arriving so we can include you in any planned rides if possible, or you being able to contact one of us with information if you want to meet up somewhere. How early will they let us in as a group mini? RandyA
