  1. There are three other you tube videos from him, but he does't show anymore than this one. I would like to have seen more of what it looked like. RandyA
  2. Thanks Mike, I ended up in Ubon, Thailand as part of the Easter offensive of 72. It absolutely amazed me how many sorties of F-4 Phantoms and AC 130 gunships went out of Ubon everyday. Ubon was located about 30 miles from Laos and 45 miles from Cambodia. RandyA
  3. I Haven't seen any other comments on this, but the late night talk shows wore out Christina and her version of the National Anthem. Jay's take and modified version was hilarious. I also checked some other shows and they also went off on her. RandyA
  4. Either you got really good Karma, or you are a thief. Way to go buddy! RandyA
  5. I get mailed stuff and the coupon had the $59.95 non contact laser temp gauge for $25.95. I bought one and took it to work and compared with the certified one and it stayed with-in one degree. I'm happy as it works great in comparing exhaust pipe temps. RandyA
  6. I thought I could help you, but I got a MKI, the Sport/Touring Venture, and our bags take a turn of the key and they slide off. RandyA
  7. I don't disagree with you a bit. RandyA
  8. Very well said!! RandyA
  9. This has been posted before with a lot of justified negative comments. You can say what you want, but the guy can handle a motorcycle. RandyA
  10. The worst was Roseanne and the best was Whitney Houston. RandyA
  11. That looks like a broken pin to me that had the grooves in the side to hold it in place. RandyA
  12. Best National Anthem ever.....Whitney Houston years ago. RandyA
  13. I heard a couple of days ago that given who it was, there were bets on how many seconds tha song would last and there were bets on even how long the last word would last. It is a good thing she left out a verse, or the flyboys would have had to take another lap to match the end. I guess in some things I am a little too old fashioned. RandyA
  14. It is not a matter of rpm as much as the amount of torque that is being exerted on the gearset. Just out of curosity, what is the last four of your serial number? RandyA
  15. There are still a lot of fairing parts that show up on ebay. Sometimes they go surprisingly cheap. RandyA
  16. Tim, another option is to pick up another MKII engine and just swap it out. It will still be some work, but take a lot less time. Money wise, if you look around, they do pop up ocassionally. RandyA
  17. I just looked at this thing and as of this moment, it has had 15,215 views. Man, are we a voyeuristic bunch. Ok, what's next? RandyA
  18. $4,200 plus parts, how slow are those guys anyway. My first fix cost me $28 when I undercut the gears. The best thing to do it is to buy a complete 86 up gearset as I did a couple of weeks ago. I got it off ebay for about $25 plus $5 more for forks and a few dollars shipping. It is not an easy job, but I think it can be done in a weekend easy. RandyA
  19. Well, at least it is Friday and off for the weekend for me. I hope it gets better for you and your wife is going to be ok. RandyA
  20. Good point, the military always puts the day first in the date. RandyA
  21. Thank you Bob for the great update!!! RandyA
  22. You have to realize that the military functions 24/7/365 and to them there are 24 hours in a day, not 12 and 12. Using that system takes away any possibility for confusion on a scheduled event. What we used to refer to some of the scheduled events was 0-dark-30 as usually these things were sometime in the middle of the night. Believe or not, the military system worked pretty good. RandyA
  23. I just talked to a tech at Comcast and he says I have a virus that came from the noted forwarding sender that also has the virus. He said about the only thing that I can do is go to Malwarebites.org and try to get it to fix my software program. On my PC, I recently purchased Malwarebites, but I don't know if I can use the same program on my Laptop, which is mostly what I use now. He said he is seeing a bunch of this stuff coming through. I am still open for any suggestions. Thanks, RandyA
  24. Looking Good. I now have my Corbin seat I bought several years ago at the upholstery shop being recovered. I bought one off ebay for $38 as there was a tear in the driver seat where the "V" insignia was. It cost me $40 to get that part covered. I took the cover off and also did a lot of mods on the driver portion . I probably lowered mine most of 1 1/2 to 2 inches and took a little out of the edges up front. This became a very comfortable seat for me to spend many hours riding. Now, a few years later, I am having the whole thing done and I am supposed to pick it up tomorrow. I am a little anxious about it and hope it turns out good. RandyA
  25. In my opinion, 38psi is getting a little on the low side for a rear tire already up to temperature. RandyA
