I have a throttle lock and the palm thing and both work very well for me. I keep the throttle lock tight enough to hold the throttle in position, but still loose enough that I can make small adjustments without unlatching it. I have foam grips and have had a problem with the palm thing slipping a little. I started using the old double sided sticky electrical tape that has a cloth base under it and it works well. I am dealing with carpel tunnel and pretty bad neuropathy in my right hand and would have a hard time riding without these things, especially with my bike being a standard without cruise control. Thanks Lew and at this time I am going to try to make Vogal this year. It has been several years since I have been there. In fact, Linda and I are thinking about taking an overnight ride Tuesday and Wednesday and if the weather is not too rainy, maybe riding to that area and getting a room for the night around Blairsville. I have not checked, but do you know if any cabins are still available? RandyA

this month, my Venture was born. I bought it 17 years ago with 23,000 miles on it and now it has almost 159,000. It has been a great ride that I have enjoyed tremendously. It has only stranded me one time and that was due to a poor connection on a wire going into the TCI. I hope to put many more miles on it and enjoy it as much as I can. It has also led me to a truly great bunch of folks. RandyA

I installed Sirius diaphragms a couple of years ago and then did the needle adjustment and it really improved my MPG. I put 240 miles on the bike, 2-up, last Monday and got about 46 MPG. I have got as good as 50 mpg and that is with a 30 year old bike with 159,000 miles on it. RandyA

Well, as I expected, I did not receive any more responses this morning. I guess that he just don't want to deal with a "country boy". I think the thing that bothers me the most is using the soldier concept when we all know that people like that are way too worthless to ever consider serving this country. I knew it was a scam, but I was interested in getting a little more information on how this one worked. Another thing I have seen is the same car listed in various locations, hundreds of miles apart and being sold locally. You would think Craigs List would do a better job of policing these things. I noticed that when I used the back button and held it for a second or so, as someone here suggested, I could go to the last page I was on. But above it, this site name would be on the list; secure.trusted-serving.com It also prevented me from using my back button on the browser afterwards. Just add the website, http://Http://secure.trusted-serving.com, to your list of restricted sites in IE. Click on tools or the gear icon in IE, then select internet options, select the security tab, select restricted sites, then click on the sites button and add the site to the restricted list, restart IE and you should be good to go. This will prevent it from showing up in your browser history again. So far it is working as it is supposed to. RandyA

You will see an increase of RPM of 10% in all gears for the same speed. This will make pulling your trailer easier and with this change, 5th gear will be more responsive and you may even get better gas mileage. $500 seems to be a bit steep for me on the rear end and you will need to get the housing machined for the speedometer hookup. I saw about 76 degrees on a 240 mile ride yesterday. This was our first nice ride day in a while. It is supposed to be about 81 today and tomorrow. RandyA

About 70 here today and piddled with bike, changed oil and tweaked on a couple of other things. I did not feel too bad about not riding out today as tomorrow is going to be warmer and by Wednesday, it is supposed to be close to 80. I am officially retired now, so everyday is a weekend. RandyA

Well, I installed both and did all the scans and stuff and rebooted and there is absolutely no difference. When I hit my back button on many sites, the only thing that happens is the advertisement for Coupon Companion Plugin will blink and usually change advertisements. I have gone through the uninstall on this and it does say that it is uninstalled, but it is not. RandyA

It looks like the problems I am having of the back button not working on most sites appears to be related to two ad programs called Coupon Companion Plugin and Strongvault or Stronghold Online Backup. The coupon thing is constantly having advertisements pop up and also causing other computer problems. This thing is so entwined in my computer that the uninstall mode does not remove anything. Anyone familiar with this? RandyA

On most sites I go on, the back button has stopped working. It is real frustrating when doing a search on Craigs List. It also has stopped working on this site. Any suggestions? I use Comcast. RandyA
