Thanks for the good wishes! Just another bump in the road when trying to raise and help three daughters. So. if someone knows of a good dealership or wholesaler in the area let me know. If not I will buy something out of PA and make another trip down. I was looking for a RSV but that is on hold again... Dave

Just drove from Pennsylvania to Conway, South Carolina to help my daughter. She was involved in an accident on 501, near Coastal Carolina University where she attends school. Met with her as she was leaving the hospital with a broken hand, bruising, and light air bag burns. She is very lucky! The car on the other hand is totaled. I will be meeting with the insurance adjuster sometime Monday, hopefully early in the morning. Any forum members in S.C. know a good ,honest, dealer for a used car in the nearby area? Regards Dave

I was trying to get some info. for a new member "Komplexvn" Rick who is in Nova Scotia, Canada. Rick is installing a replacement collector on his 86 Venture Royale. Sent Rick a link to South Seatlle Sports for some parts break down pics. Any advice for him on the alignment or putting collector back up into place? Thanks Dave

I will be listing a set of KURYAKYN large silver bullets mounted on "Squids" brackets on ebay. They were mounted to my 87 VR which I think is sold. Mounted on the bike 2 months. I also listed fairing puches, brown seat, hitch, etc. Didn't intend on stealing your thread! Regards Dave- 23 replies

Sorry Earl, Didn't want to upset you:rotf:! Just thought it was worthy, because your VR does look darn good. With the brake upgrade, the added led lighting, the custom fuse panel, well heck you should be proud! I hope this doesn't mean your going to start pulling the Yamaha around in a trailer.... Your buddy...Dave

Yes back on ebay...buyer could not complete transaction. The seat is a take off "brown" replaced with a Corbin, I was told it was used under 500 miles when I purchased it. I also bought the factory back pad cover also replaced with corbin. The Hitch, seat, rear pad, collector, etc. will be sold on Ebay later this week. If the bike no sales Sunday, I will start listing parts for sale Dave

The 87 is again on ebay and if she stays in the garage... get your parts lists ready...the chop shop will be open. The markland hitch will be listed sometime this week along with a like new brown saddle, backrest pad, a collector I bought from Hess I never installed, etc. I had planned on a RSV but the Vulcan Voyager has my intrest being a ex-05 Nomad owner, but it is hard to beat the smooth ride and power of the Yamaha engine. Regards Dave

Yes...I had a 05 Nomad and enjoyed the bike, I even checked into adding a Venture tour pack and a HD batwing to make it a dresser. I will now look at the Kawasaki a little closer...who knows what might happen ! Well I do have a little problem, I think I like it...
