How does an Ontario resident change a light bulb? They just grab on to it and wait for the rest of Canada to rotate around them..... Brian:smile5: (you did say you hadnt heard any Ontario jokes.....)

My Ex used it for the shakes and pain she got from MS. She had leg pain occasionally and nothing seemd to take it away but the marijuana. The medical grade seemed to be a lot less potent than the stuff she could find around town, so guess which she preferred:whistling:. BUT, she seemed to go thru the weed a LOT more than just the days than she had pain, I had found that after a year or so she was smokin up just to go to work,or sleep or just to get the day going, and when I would ask her about her pain later she would say she didnt have any. I was glad she didnt have pain, but i didnt like living with someone high all the time either....

Looks like a mustang to me......but what do I know, i expected to see a pic of him on a kids big wheel trike...
-
I think he saw that video last week with the big wheel toytrikes racing down the hills and decided he wanted to give that a try!!!! brian

I was surprised in Hialeah in January when I had a tough time in the mall and in the Ramada Hotel we stayed in that the staff didnt seem to speak any English at all. It was a very nice looking mall and the people were dressed very nicely, but there was almost no english spoken anywhere. One of the ladies in our group needed a hair styling and there wasnt a single woman in the hair salon that could speak english. I knew that spanish was widely spoken in Florida, but I was surprised by the extent of it. Brian

Where to get proper feller guages
friesman replied to muaymendez1's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Are you sure that you dont have a stepped feeler guage? Some have a different size at the last 3/4 of an inch than the rest of the gauge strip. -
Circulating copies of Ride Like A Pro - WHERE ARE THEY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
friesman replied to LilBeaver's topic in Watering Hole
I liked our old model for paying for music up here. As I understand it, When you used to buy blank media like cd's there was an extra charge tacked on that is supposed to go to the artist, and then there wasnt a huge concern over copying as the money was there whether it was original or a copy. But now that our recording industry has become so intertwined with the US we've been forced to move to the US style of "ban the copying" Brian -
Ill keep an eye on this, as I have a markland hitch and wanted to do exactly what youre doing.

I think I remember welcoming you to the ventureriders when you started and mentioned the Nelson ride then, but sometimes I dont remember having lunch...... Rick and I have both been working on the Kruisn the Koots for the last couple of years but it was decided that we would skip this year as it looked like with the Intl Rally in Cody Wy being fairly close and with All the other rallies like Sturgis North that there just was going to be too much going on, we would just put it off this year and re assess. But, you very welcome to join up with us in Cody WY and take all the rides around that area in late July, We would love to see you come out, I would think there might be memebers coming from the area, that you could ride with. Circulating copies of Ride Like A Pro - WHERE ARE THEY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
friesman replied to LilBeaver's topic in Watering Hole
I hafta say I am disappointed, as those copies were donated to give everyone a chance to see what is a good video on riding techniques. I hope everyone could have a good look around their homes and if you have a missing copy, please forward it on, or send to Kite squid so he can discreetly send it on to the next person. Thanks for having a look, Brian -
When I start my Escape with the remote it only runs for 8 minutes and shuts off. It can also be set to restart if it detects the engine temperature dropping below a certain point and run it for those 8 minutes and shut off again. When I asked the technician about some details he said to me that the shut off mechanism was in the electronics on the SUV not in the remote starter, If that is the case I gotta wonder why it isnt turned on at the factory. When I had my trunk and bags painted I just took a piece of plastic that has a good finish still left on it to an automotive paint supplier and asked them to match it. They did a good job. THe paint codes are listed here somewhere, but most of the better paint suppliers can probably get a better match with the new equipment they have to do the colour match. Just the trunk and side bags on my bike were painted and you cant tell what is new and what is OEM (except that the new is shinier when the bike isnt exactly clean...) Brian

Sounds like a bent rim, take the tire and rim off and the spin the spindle and see if the plate that the wheel bolts on to is straight Brian
-
same thing here, no hills for days in any direction.... Brian
-
Thats one of the reasons that I am always wary of buying a tire that is what is considered an off brand. I would rather spend a couple bucks more than have to worry about how good its going to perform on a long trip, or when I need it to perform in a corner....... Brian

My Luggage Rack Install
friesman replied to GaryZ's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
THat looks great! I bought a rack off an 86 for my 85 and it looks good, but i like the bigger size of yours. I might consider putting some flat metal straps under the bolt heads on the inside of the lid to distribute the stess a bit better to prevent any cracking. MLEW, the rack will look larger on your 83 as you have a smaller trunk, the 85 has the larger trunk but we have the same side bags as you. Brian -
Yep it will save you in the long run.
-
woohooo! I would love to try that!!! Brian

ok, youre on the list now..... Brian
