I am like that in certain areas too. I must be getting old as I no longer HAVE to know how absolutely every widget on the smartphone or computer works. There was a time not all that long ago where I wouldnt sleep until I knew exactly how it all ran and how to interface every aspect . I guess Ive realized that there is life outside of the IT crap. If you go vinyl stripes again, you might choose another colour as black absorbs all the UV causing all the damage in a hurry, or just park it in the shade. Brian

One of the guys I ride with in the CMC went for a ride on THursday around town and as far as I know that is a first for this time of year in this area. I was at the annual RMAI swap meet today and i heard that a few guys had ridden there, and one the way home i saw 3 bikes just going for a ride around the park. I love these warm sunny days!!!! (just wish that my bike was ready to go, but at least it wont have salt all over it...) Brian

I think I would have it shipped to a members place close to the border, have him open it and call you with the VIN and go down to Ont Licensing place and get a plate for it, have your paper work sent to customs 48 hours before so they can clear it. Hey Ruffy, youll be fine My 75 year old mother has had both knees done in the last 2 years and after the first one within 2 days she had said that the pain was already reduced from what it was before . She can walk everywhere again, and can do things she hasnt done for 10 years. The only thing is that we had to rearrange her kitchen as she cant get down on her knees anymore to get stuff outta the bottom cupboards. I beleive that youll kick yourself in the butt that you didnt do it years ago. Brian

It was painfully slow on the Norwegian Dawn last winter as well. I had a tiny bit of work to do and it took me most of the afternoon......at least the waitress kept coming around and refilling my drink....lol Brian

Same here, the guy that did the paint/prep work said it seemed like the pinstriping's glue was etched right into the plastic. He did some major sanding and used plastex to level and then sanded some more. Brian

If youre worried about cookies and someone using info to drive the advertisers and merchants to your mailbox and phone, you had better not use anything from google, apple or almost any company with a presence on the web. Google harvests words out of gmail mailboxes (your personal email, read their new privacy policy)) and finds out what interests you. then those ads pop up in your browser while youre surfing or as advertising in places like Facebook on the sidebars,etc. Google also tracks what people are looking for on the net and uses that to put ads that appeal to you on your screen. Apple, microsoft and so many others are doing exactly the same thing, so if we want to end the practice of data mining,maybe we should be getting our message across to the companies and to the govt (but IMHO I think we have enuff laws already) that we dont like it, but maybe we shouldnt be singling out one company because we dont think it fits our ideals. Basically my opinion of the net is this: its one big postcard, so treat it like that. Anything you dont want someone to read, dont put it out there because there is a possibility it could be read. Isn't that how free enterprise works?... Find a niche that people need (or think they need) and fill that niche to make your living. Why give a guy a black eye over making a bunch of money? No one is forcing people to use Facebook. I use it and like it, and know many that do. Brian

Most years there is like a town on the ice where this Pike video was shot, but this year with the warm winter the ice isnt very thick, so there hasnt been a big amount of semi permanent shelters out on the ice. SOme years by now there is almost 3 feet of ice where those guys were standing, but this year i think there was barely a foot and there has been many cases of trucks and quads breaking thru and sinking (and unfortunatly a couple of deaths too). I love ice fishing also, and with this years weather being so nice you can get by with just a light spring jacket most of the time. It looks like we have plenty of snow in the vid but it had just snowed the night before and now most of it has melted. With about 5 or 6 lakes within a 45 minute drive from Regina its a good way to get some fresh air and have some fun. Brian

Been there done that, its just like someone using a really coarse wood rasp on your arm.... ya bleed like crazy from about a hundred little slices in your skin.... SOme of those Northerns are just plain nasty, but, they are a bit tamer in the cool water. brian

I did the same after reading posts,....I am not impressed either, but Ill leave it on the drive until the next semi annual format and reconfigure. I guess some of us arent afraid to say we like win7 after all, and that not all of us are in the mac or linux cult...... Brian
