I like the rain bibs, keeps the wetness at bay a bit more than the just the pants and jacket does, but, it does seem to take up quite a bit more room in the side bag. Brian

I was kinda bored with the old pancake style tails on my RSV. A couple of years ago at PIP I spotted Bubbers RSV with some nice beehive signal lights on his and liked them a lot. A while ago I saw a stratoliner and with its retro signal lights it got me thinking of looking for an upgrade from mine again. I found a good selection of signal lights at a reasonable price with free shipping at Motor City Cycle in Michigan. I found out our signal lights are the 83mm size and even though they advertise that the chrome finish units will allow enough light through to work properly, my experience is they don't. But I am very satidfied with the Amber bullet signal lights, and they just bolt up,...except that you have to flip the chrome trim ring around the OEM light inside out to work. AND for us Canadians he ships to Canada free.....the fellow is very easy to deal with and called me about the details about the fit as he primarily sold to HD riders. the 130 is WWAAAYYY lighter at slow speed handling. but I find I do need to run the back shock at higher air pressure at highway speeds or the front seems a bit too quick to respond. Brian

At times mine felt a bit light in the front at hiways speeds,after installing the 130, but I found putting more air in the back shock solved the issue. and the Michellin Commander 2's are a dual compound tire. fyi. Brian

I have heard that that's not a great idea as the front and rear tires have different purposes , steering requires different tread patterns to grip while turning while a rear tire is designed primarily to push you forward and has strength engineered to do that well. I just went to the narrower 130 Commander2 and like it a lot. brian

so glad that youre going to be Ok, Kerry. but it sucks that youre gonna be hurting and that your bike is scuffed. ill bet theres a lot of us around here on Warfarin so I wouldn't worry about that,...Ive been on it for years. Brian

I will be watching this with interest as I have had AFib for years but its gradually getting worse and the doc indicated I may have to look at the same solution youre looking at. I am sure that its a good solution, but its one of those things that you want to know every angle before going forward. Wishing you all the best on this! Brian

I asked him about that when we talked last about 2 weeks ago, but he is living a lot farther west on Vancouver Island now and isn't sure he can swing that with the extra travel time. But I told him if he came we would reserve the spot by the rooster for him.(right next to Bubber) Brian

I bought one of these visors for my Garmin 765t and I am finding it helps a lot, they have visors that fit almost every gps, maybe they have something that would work for your camera. I like these as they are not rigid but a semi-soft foldable visor. http://www.glarestomper.com/ Brian

thanks for the help with this one everyone, Ive always found the OEM whips too tall and a pain to fold down when covering up the bike. the Goldwings will eat the Ventures lunch everytime. That's not to say our ventures aren't a great bike but they just don't have the same HP that the Goldwing does. Brian
