Ive had the Roku 3 for about 6 months and love it, but its not really a sub for basic network stations. I do get some network news etc on it, but its more of a movie and specialty channel service. I get about 250 channels up here in Canada I think in the US you guys have over 750(?) There are several outdoors channels, special interest channels (bikeing, bikinis, and beaches etc) and I have about 6 free movie channels in my favourites. Most of the channels have more channels inside, eg the MAN Channel has streaming biking tours, biking info, tattoos, bike building, and so on... Most of the content is streaming and not live, but it is added to all the time and constantly changing as it is an opensource device and anyone can create their own channel.....and because of that fact there is some useless crap on there too, but Roku gives you a favourites section to move the channels you like into so you don't have to sort thru the crap more than once. wow,youre lucky you caught it before you had a crash... I am curious what the date code is on your Elite 2 , as I thought they were discontinued a few years ago. If its more than 6 years old it might explain the trouble youre having. Brian

I have the Harley pump and it works great with no bleed off when removing the fitting, and it seem like a failry well made piece of equipment for the 50 bucks I paid. My rear shock has groaned on my 03 every cool or cold morning since I bought it in early May, but is fine on the warm mornings. Iv put about 18000 kms on the bike this year and was kinda thinking I might need a shock, but so far so good. I read on the other website that a guy took the shock out and he used the air tube (removed Shrader valve) to syringe in some Marvel mystery fluid into it to help lubricate the seals internally. I don't know if it helped extend the life of his shock, but it was indicated that it stopped the groaning. But it should be noted that he also cleaned and lubricated all of the connections on the shock mounts when he had it out.

Crap, I hadn't caught that they don't have a rear for us G2 guys, I was still thinking in G1 sizes I guess..... I wonder if a larger could be trimmed. hmmm Ive seen these on older cars and they look good,you really cant tell that they aren't a real whitewall as it just slides up under your tire bead. Brian

As we cant get any decent tires with whitewalls anymore, has anyone tries out the whitewall ribbons that you just add on when you change the tire. Yyeeaahhh, sure... that works well for most ppl, not for me tho ,,,...until the kickstand on the G1 breaks, and you hit the ground with the bike on top of you with a big crowd around you... I was glad I had my helmet on as I hit my head hard and the helmet had some nasty scratches on it:cool10: Brian

Well I found out a VERY important thing NOT to do after buying a new can of Pledge to put into the side bag of the bike. DO NOT put any thing on top of it and then close the lid.... It took me about an hour today to get all of the pledge out of the foam pad and to sop it up from between all those little plastic squares in the bottom of the side bag. And then there is the jacket liners and rainwear that need to be cleaned,..... and I also gotta get all of the wax that dripped down out of the bag onto the left muffler ,...off of the muffler .... You should not have any trouble finding fuel during the day on the #1 highway, but at night most places close up. I would start looking for fuel when I get to about a half tank, just in case though.... brian
