  2. Either way you go, you need white paint on the gas tank. Brian
  3. Here is an idea for the Cody Intl rally to get this contest started. Lets have lots of entries for this contest!
  4. Cody is where the Venturerider Intl Rally is being held in 2011. It is the big get together of the year. There has been a lot of interest already and it looks like we are headed for great attendance. 5. Have you calibrated your pressure guage lately? those look like they might have been underinflated. My e3's have close to 15000 miles on them, with a lot of 2 up. Always at 40 lbs front and rear/ About a year ago i threw out an old gauge when i got the new good (60 bucks) digital the old cheap digital one was out almost 10lbs. Brian
  6. Maybe we gotta get Skydoc (when he is feeling better) or someone else here to put together a kit to do this mod. Brian
  7. those look great David! good job, thanks for posting those pics. That makes for a fairly cost effective way to put a nice looking and sounding exhaust on a G1 bike. Brian

  9. We have known that for a couple of years now,,,:rotf: Brian
  10. Gee you guys ND winters might be cold but they arent that bad, you guys are just spoiled thats all. ND is SOUTH and can be balmy sometimes....LOL depends on perspective...lol Brian
  11. Hey Squid Thanks i got mine today. Great looking shirt, fits a bit big, but I can shrink anything:innocent:......(or is that grow into anything?) Do I owe you some more cash, it seems the shipping was a bit higher than what I sent you. brian
  12. My fav College team is University of Regina Rams. Several players every year are picked in the Canadian Football draft and there is usually one or two yearly that are NFL bound. http://www.reginarams.com/ Brian
  13. Oh yeah, i forgot that youre at least a hundred years older than me,,,,,lol! I couldnt live on the wet coast, i hate rain and dreary weather. minus 30 and sunny is wwaaayyy better than zero cloudy and raining, IMHO Brian
  14. I was wondering why we always remember the crappy weather, but seem to forget about the other 200 or so sunny days of the year.? Even in winter as long as its sunny it seems like a nice day. (at least to me) As a side note,,,,I also wonder why Ontario people always seemto take so much fun in poking sticks at the Albertans about everything from weather to oil sands to the trucks they drive... Brian
  15. I find partshark pretty easy to use and it has the actual parts fiche online so you can track down what you need. Brian
  16. I hope you add a lil note under your new name saying something like,.... formerly known as...... I have troulbe remembering the changes.
  17. I had to look it up Ive never heard of vstream before. Looks like an interesting concept for a windshield. Brian
  18. I was in Commission sales In Appliances for over 10 years and our most reliable laundry overall was the Whirlpool stuff, and the Sears stuff made by whirlpool. In my opinion its the best buy for the money. Occasionally every company (even Whirlpool) makes a bad one but thats why I would pay a bit extra to stay with a bigger company that can help you out in case of a lemon, (but not a lot extra.) Brian
  19. When youve got that licence and bikes, make sure you come on up to a part of Canada, we would love to see you guys here too. Brian
  20. The 85 was a one year only beast, with the bigger trunk and still having the clamshell side bags. It has a different mounting bracket under the trunk and they are scarce. You may be able to make an 85 and up trunk fit by bolting a piece of metal or wood down to your bracket and then bolt the bigger trunk to that plate. You will gain a ton of space by changing the side bags also, our pre 86 bags that open out really dont have a ton of space in them. Brian
  21. If you like eating and specifically , eating ice cream, not to worry youll fit in just fine....lol. Youre a way from quite a few members, but heck so am I, and ive made some darn good friends in here, so get out and ride that 85 the distances it was made for. Meet cha up in Cody next July and we can compare 85 Glorious Maxie Brown paint jobs....lol! Brian
  22. If anyone is planning a motorcycle trip to a part of Canada you havnt been before, maybe check out www.Vridetv.com . They have ridden a VRod across Canada and taken pretty high quality video from just about everywhere in Canada. They have found some great spots and even caught some wildlife like bears and Rocky Mountain sheep in their travels. They are mostly short videos, but they will give you a great idea about the roads and the type of the terrain and amenities around. Ill start you off with the Alberta Badlands and Dinosaur Provincial Park, just because its not too far from here. http://www.vridetv.com/sddinosaurprovpk.html Brian:smile5:
  23. Yeah we've noticed... Brian:rotf:
