I’m not one who likes to tempt fate so I have not plugged my phone back into the front port. I probably should as it is still in warranty and if the problem reappears I can still have them address it. I’ll try tomorrow and post my result.

Got the bike back from the dealer today and they said they had to re-flash the head unit and the USB message is gone.

I just purchased a “new to me” 2018 and am having the same issue. In my case, I plugged my iPhone 13 into the front USB connection to charge while riding and now I continuously get that message flashing on the screen, even though the phone is no longer connected. I’ve dropped the bike back at the selling dealership for them to diagnose but they say they have never seen this before.

Thanks for the ad. I’m looking to upgrade to a Venture TC this year and this forum looks like a good place for info. mcsteve
