Detachable RSTD Tour Pak Completed

I used 2" polished aluminum angle to mount deflectors just slightly above and behind fairing. I think you can see how it looks in my pictures profile. Looks good and very functional. Only problem, if I crank it up to 95 to 100 Mph (once in a blue moon), I get front end wobble since I put fairing on. 85 to 90 no problem. -
Cruise Control Problem

Got tired of screwing around with it. Took it to the shop (which I should have done in the first place, since it is under warranty). Come to find out my problem was that the pump was bad and of course they had to order one. Went by the shop to get some of my stuff out, the mech showed me the old pump and what it wasn't doing. By the way, had a Cops for Kids toy run Sunday and used a friends Buell Thunderbolt, which was different, but a heck of alot of fun to ride. Could get into some serious trouble with it! -

Another Cruise Control Problem

what is this "rev" light you refer to, supposed to tell ya. My 05 RSTD doesn't have anything like that on my display, nor does it say anything about it in manual. Enlighten me please. -

I appreciate ur responses, have already tried a few to no avail, as much as I hate to have a shop work on anything I own, I just might break down and let the local shop take a gander and see what they will try and charge me for, or what they screw up when I get it back. Im really not always so pessimistic! Thanks, -
I can activate cruise and on light stays on, push set switch and set lights stays on, as they both should. Let go of throttle and cruise is actually not on. Tried at different speeds from 45 up to 65 to no avail. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. PGR, PC, FL

Hey Patrick, I belong to PGR here in Panama City, Fl. You can go on PGR.og and you can fill app. very simple and doesn't cost a thing. One of those deals, you do what you can, no pressure. Well, looked at and bought the bike. Got it for 6700. Really pleased with it. Definitely a whole lot more comfortable & better looking then the 83 Venture I sold last week.
I just picked it up to day.
Thanks for the info. Did you get the service records and stuff from the same Dealer where the bike was bought or one around your town?

Hope you enjoy this site, it is very informative and a great bunch of folks.
Going to look at an 05 RSTD tommorrow. The Ol' Boy wants 7200 for it with 9000mis. on it.
From what I've seen it is in excellent condition.
Think its a good price? Gonna try and see if he'll go for 6500, never hurts to try. I'm down here in beautiful Panama City, Fl. (Tourist trap).
Can you give me any tips as to what I might look for on the bike that might cause problems.
How do you like yours?
