Thank you steamer.....this is no different than what we did last year by inviting friends , family and customers of pioneer to come listen to the band........THERE IS NO MERGE...NO TAKEOVER AND NO PLOT TO DISSOLVE VENTURIDERS....GOOD GRIEF !!!!!!!. I can plan my own rally and invite anyone I want...this way you guys can plan a separate event and not worry about over active minds that are concerned about some fictitious takeover.... Again, I have not been contacted by anyone from any group...I was strictly feeling you guys out....SEEMS to me the only opposition to this is from members who don't even come to this rally....thanks for your views......

From what I understand the spyder group consists of about 30 riders....Our members have ridden with them on their rides and tell me that this group is a mirror image of our WNY group...Last year at our rally we had 36 sign up and maybe 55 show up for the BBQ and band....ACTUALLY the WNY group and Pioneer opened up the concert to our friends and family's and to pioneers select customers...Thats why we had around 130 or so for the band.... It would have looked really sad for pioneer to provide us with a band for 35 members.....as it was.... we took up a collection to help pay for the band but was way shy of the final bill....again we did this as a good faith gesture for all the things that pioneer does for us...during the band , I noticed that the Armstrong's brought pounds and pounds of hot dogs and rolls to feed EVERYONE during the band...I didn't know who supplied the food until the next day...again..I am glad that you all are commenting on this thread and welcome more comments...so please do so !!!!!!

Its not that Pioneer is pushing us to do this, its more of trying to help this group evolve by seeing how we do things...Its a great weekend and I would like to see more people attend but I dont want to take this event away from our group...IT is OUR rally and will remain so if we choose.....I am waiting on a contact number for one of their members....maybe they wont be interested..!!!! thanks for your thoughts.....................

Ok guys and gals...had a talk with Terry at Pioneer motorsports about combining our mini rally with a local spyder group that rides out of pioneer.I know some of our members have ridden with them on their rides and tell me thay are a good group like our members here....fun loving , respectful and no goof balls ( well kinda like us with the exception of the goof balls).........well the Idea is to show them how we plan an event and to get our numbers up from 60 that attend to 100 or so....this would help toward the cost of the band when we pass the hat and we would have more campers there...this year I am thinking about more activities at the venue...bike games...softball..picnic games..etc.. (gonna call on the CNY boys on this) and much shorter daily rides......the BBQ will be catered as to free up our members so that they can enjoy the activities and not come to the rally to work all weekend......I want to keep it more relaxed and a less timed event....(we try to cram in as much as possible.....) so what do yo guys think about this ........do you want to expand this to include the local spyder group or do we keep this to ourselves ????? YOUR THOUGHT ARE NEEDED ...THIS IS YOUR RALLY..Tell me your thoughts..........

Cant believe I didn;t see this post until I got HOME....YOU SHOULD HAVE HUNTED US DOWN...The front dest knew me well....lol... We left around 6am this morning trying to beat the rain......We didn't......yes we got soaked for 200 miles.........I still cant warm up yet....!!!!!! THE LAST 100 OR SO MILES WILL FILLED WITH SUNSHINE......Will post pictures tomorrow.....Sorry we crossed.....I was asleep by 7:30 or 8:00 last night:draming:...We played very hard this past trip:fatsmiley:Taters kept us very busy............................ ps...never had any the whole trip.....

are goofing off traveling around the state the past couple of days......We are in Canastota, NY now and just returned from the Herkimer diamond mines...Kenny was the best miner as he found some nice stones...Taters had one made into a necklace and is proudly wearing it....We went to Sylvan beach yesterday and a quaint amusement park on the beach..We also visited the boxing hall of fame museum and our plan for tomorrow is to continue east to the Howe caverns and spend the night there....The weather is iffy here today but held out long enough for us to do what we wanted to do.....looks like we will get soaked on the ride home Monday................

If I recall there were only a few people to try it....then it disappeared or was tossed into a bio hazard container and shipped off to some undisclosed location ...........lol.. this stuff will destroy your love life and if you have a mustache when you eat it, you will be shaving it off shortly.................lol.

I havn't talked to Ashley yet........ but I will.......KENNY will never forgive us !!!!!!!! NOW THERE A GOOD REASON NEVER TO TAKE UP DRINKING.....OR DANCING.... OR DANCING WHILE YOU ARE DRINKING...................

Well Jonas made it to Alden yesterday and went right to work on installing a venture trunk on his 98 .................well after he took it for a little ride.........when he got back he went upstairs and changed his shorts.............................BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA...BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!! I think he wasn't expecting all that POWER.............LOL. PS he is still smiling...

Your getting what we got last night....they are calling for a few sprinkles this am and done by noon............I told Jonas this last night and he told me thats why they make rain suits....

Talked to Jonas at 9pm last evening. He is hold up for the night in Mansfield Pa. He told me he will leave around 7:30am to continue his way here..Sounds like he is having a ball..HE MAKES A FRIEND OF EVERYONE HE MEETS...I will expect him here around 10:30 am...

I still have about 3 dozen pair of womens panties in a box somewhere in my basement....If you are new here....watch out... some members will try to break up your happy home......!!!!......be aware of the postman bringing smelly cheap perfumed packages to your door.
