Ok guys and gals...I need some input from those who attend the rally each year...we are kicking around a 50's theme with a stroll dance contest and best 50's costumed couple on Friday night ? what do you think...sound like fun ?????? SATURDAY NIGHT BAND WILL PLAY 50'S , 60'S AND 70'S music....????????? catered bbq before the band ???? another scavenger hunt ???? Spragues ride again????? more picnic games???? more or less rides???? If you attend this rally ,I would like your input.....

I do have the dates for the rally, but I am waiting on Pioneer to confirm them.....I will give you a hint though...ON Friday night, we will be having a 50's theme night with a prize for the best costumed couple....so dig out your best poodle skirt out of the closet and have Ellen working on that ducksass haircut and practice up on the "stroll" for the dance contest.....ps..and a 70's band on Saturday...

Haven't been around here much, but just wanted everyone to now Taters and I haven't deserted you guys....... I have been lurking around from time to time and keeping in touch via FB with most of you....The mini rally will continue this year in August again and I will set the date around the first of the year.. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving day. I need to come here more often and start a little trouble from time to time....lol As most of you know ,We got hid really hard with SNOW last week and are almost about back to normal.....NORMAL....well as normal as I can be...I JUST LOVE THESNOWas everyone will attest and just want to WALLOW in it and all its splendor ....Thanks for all your concern last week and I promise to hang around a little more to

Actually, thats what causing the ice in the gutters. My garage is heated for the dog kennel and the bike .... the garage roof is not insulated which causes the the bottom layer to melt then refreeze in the gutter....2nd story foof is fine with most of the snow gone.......it is melting fast now....I'm too old to be climbing up on roofs and frankly every time I mention it Taters throws a hissy fit.....

We got hit really hard....about 100 inches of snow..It been a really rough go around here. Took 4 days of snow removal at around 10 hours a day..Taters and I are opened up and the driving ban in Alden was lifted today..We restocked everything so we didn't have to eat the dog...it was a close call for her..We have 5 ft of snow on the roof and that concerns me with all the roofs colapsing around me..We are not out of the woods yet..the temperature is climbing as I write this...around 40f and the snow is getting quite heavy...ice jams in my gutters with snow and ice hanging 4 ft. Off of my eaves..Flooding is going to happen over the next few days as the temps are going to hit 60f....I am exhsusted and want everyone to know "I hate snow ! "
