Just got back from a great day of riding with Venture members, J. Gorom, SpankyM, Niagara 135, and his wonderful daughter, my co-pilot Taters, along with Valkayre members Big D and Little D, and friends, Don and LouLou. Started off meeting and having lunch at our favorite restaurant in the Southern Tier called "Earls". Proceeded East thru the land of windmills and headed into Letchworth State Park where Niagara 135 met up with his wife who had been camping there. Leaving Steve...Niagara 135 in good hands, we proceeded for ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!. After frozen bananas, custards, banana splits and other dairy treats, J. Gorom led our pack to a wonderful Amish Store selling a variety of Bulk foods, cheese, soups, candy, pies and breads along with various other treats. Guess James thought I was in need of more food. Great Store.....Thanks, James! Heading out with a saddlebags full of food snacks, we followed James north thru the city of Batavia, where he broke off and headed home.... At this point we decided that another refreshment stop was in order, so we stopped. But this time only liquid refreshments....coffee break....what did you think I meant? With coffee in hand and conversation ... the bull flying....we soon headed west toward home. With Don and LouLou safely on their way home and Taters and I tucked in...the only one left riding was SpankyM..... Yes I know the rule about pictures, SpankyM has officially been voted in as group photographer and poster of pictures. I'm sure they will be posted shortly......Our WNY group of riders is getting stronger and (CHUBBIER) and we hope that more Venture riders in the area will contact one of us and join our little group.... Sorry BongoBob and Becky you were away and unable to join us. You were missed.

gonna be great here in western ny...gonna get out all three days..already made plans with big and little d..niagra 145 and his daughter..taters is looking foward to riding too..will call spankym to see if he wants to come along.. im sure he will be in...bongobob is on his way to toronto..guess whos anniversary it is..gongrads bob and becky..enjoy your selves..we will be thinking of you..yep its gonna be a great weekend..chores can wait..not to many days like this left...:dancefool:

great to hear you got out riding again...it wont take long to get that old feeling of security or confidence back..must have felt great..one year is a long time without a ride..glad you got back up on that horse again..maybe you can catch up by riding faster for the remainder of the season.....lol...any way great news my northern neighbor...

you never need to appologize here ..thats what we are here for..like one big family....since i retired from the sheriffs department...i took a job with the state working with a state supreme court judge...these things all take time ..i know how frustating it may seem to you...but when the end result finally happens it will all be worth it..any good judge will dot all their i"s and cross their t"s to insure the defendant is given due process..not what you want to here, i know.. But you dont want him to get off on some stupid technacality..do you?. I know how frustrating this my be for you,but trust me it will all work out. Yes it will take some time , so hang in there ok....and yes some judges posTpone cases to play golf...but thats better than having him at work when he doesnt want to be there...then every one pays..am praying for you and yours..

MET UP WITH PJ BENNETLEPEL, HIS WONDERFUL GIRLFRIEND, BIG D AND LITTLE D..FROM THE VALKRE RIDERS CLUB AROUND 9 45 THIS MORNING AT THE CORFU EXIT OF THE NYS THRUWAY. AFTER SOME SMALL TALK AND FUEL FOR THE BIKES WE PROCEDED TO A FAVORITE MOTORCYCLE EATERY KNOW ALL OVER NY CALLED EARLS ON RT 16 IN CHAFFEE. HERE WE MET UP WITH 2 MORE MEMBERS..SPANKYM AND NIAGARA 135.. AGAIN MORE SMALL TALK ALONG WITH A GREAT LUNCH. POOR STEVE (NIA135) HE WORKED ALL NIGHT AND STILL WENT RIDING WITH US.YOU COULD SEE HE WAS REALLY BEAT.ANY WAY AFTER LUNCH, WE TOOK A RIDE TO ELLICOTVILLE IN THE SOUTHERN TEIR. OF COURSE, ICE CREAM WAS IN ORDER...IT WAS AN HOUR RIDE SINCE LUNCH..SO WITH TWO SCOOPS DOWN,IT WAS TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT DINNER..HUMMM..R AND D IN LEROY? SURE LETS GO FOR IT..IT SHOULD ONLY TAKE US A COUPLE OF HOURS TO GET THERE....WELL I KINDA MIS JUDGED THAT..I WAS OFF JUST A LITTLE..IT WAS NOW 5 OCLOCK AND WE WERE ALL GETTING A LITTLE STIFF( MUST BE GETTING OLD) SO I DECIDED TO STOP AND GET THE FEELING BACKIN MY BUTT(THANKS JOANNA FOR THE BUTT RUB..PHIL DONT WORRY ABOUT IT..)AND OF COURSE THE BIKES NEEDED GAS.AFTER THE STOP,NIAGARA HAD ENOUGH AND HEADED HOME.GREAT RIDING WITH YOU AGAIN STEVE.. WELL WE HEADED OUT AGAIN TRYING TO GET PHIL AND JOANNA CLOSER TO THEIR HOME TURF BEFORE WE SPLIT UP, SO WE HEADED TOWARD THE CITY OF BATAVIA AND ENDED UP HAVING CHINESE FOR SUPPER..THE CAT WAS GREAT..JUST KIDDING JOANNA..JUST KIDDING...WELL AFTER DINNER WE SAID OUR GOOD BYS.. IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY WITH WONDER MEMBERS..PHIL AND JOANNA MAKE IT HOME SAFELY BACK TO THE FINGER LAKES, BIG D AND LITTLE ARE SNUG IN THEIR HOME IN ALBION, AS FOR SPANKYM AND MYSELF ,WE DECIDED TO RIDE ON A LITTLE LONGER WITH ONE MORE COFFEE STOP.WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY...JUST A LITTLE NOTE FOR ALL YOU MEMBER OUT THERE..PHIL (PJBENNETLEPEL IS A WONDERFUL CARTOONIST..HE DID CARTOONS OF TATERS AND ME ON OUR BIKE AS WELL AS BIG D AND LITTLE D.. PHIL IS A LITTLE MODEST ABOUT THIS.. IF YOU WOULD LIKE SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT TO HANG ON YOUR WALL, CONTACT PHIL..YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED). replaced mine a week ago ...had 14500 on them on my o5... Inside pad was paper thin..outside pad was about one sixteenth of an inch left....changed them just in time...getting tough to stop...fronts are still about 40 percent...wll change them out this winter..start with fresh set for the spring...

GLAD TO HEAR YOU HAVE YOUR RIDE BACK..MUST HAVE FELT GREAT TO GET BACK IN THE SADDLE AND TO BE RIDING AGAIN...I HAVE A 2005 WITH 14400 MILES ON IT..REPLACED THE REAR BREAKS YESTERDAY..LIKE YOU SAID..ONE SHOE WAS DOWN TO THE METAL..GOT THEM CHANGED NOT A DAY TO SOON....COULD HAVE BEEN NASTY...CHANGED IT OUT BEFORE I GOT IN ANY TROUBLE...FRONTS ARE STILL AT 40 PERCENT..WILL STILL CHANGE THEM AT THE END OF THE SEASON TO BE SAFE...START WITH A FRESH SET FOR NEXT YEAR...RIDE SAFE..
