I received an email from our host (Pioneer motorsports) today. She sent out a notice inviting 96 WNY SPYDER RIDERS to join us at our rally this year. Response has been favorable on their behalf. For those attending, I would ask you to welcome them as you would any new member to this forum. Our band has also noted their appearance on their website. Don't know how many of their followers will attend, but the more the merrier..We the WNY committee are excited and looking forward to having them join us for this event and expecting to have a record breaking attendance this year... To get back on topic..... I know that there are members who are planning to attend because of e-mails or telephone conversations I've had . Hey cowpuc..... this is the message I received from Chad Armstrong on 7/10/18... "I have confirmed gen 3 venture will be available for demo on FRIDAY 8/17 throughout the day"... what else can I say. I am just relaying the message that I received from Pioneer motorsports ...

As far as Im told....just take it out for a ride, but you have to bring it back.....

A third gen will be available to throw a leg over for test rides starting on Friday August 17th....It was supposed to be there on Thursday but will still be on the road to our rally. Still time to signup to attend, see you there.....

I also have competed in both indoor (298 av.) and outdoor (540 av out of 560 ) .Our longest shot was 80 yds. that was a few years back....still very active in archery today teaching weekly youth and woman's classes all summer long. I am also on the BOD of Hawkeye Bowmen in Marilla NY. I became a primitive archer some years ago and build my own selfbows and primitive arrows as well as shooting a compound. ( I have many bows to this date, target, hunting , recurve and primitive.. don't want to say how many because Taters cant tell one from another. lol) .I build arrows for a select few, it doesn't pay because of the time involved in making a quality arrow ...You can but mass produced much cheaper.....Archery have been a large part of my life for over 52 years. It keeps me out of trouble.....most of the time....lol

Doesn't look good for taters and myself... teaching a class on the 19th @ 4pm...dr.s appoint @ 2pm on the 20th and chairing a public shoot on Saturday (all day)....vic has a baby shower also on Saturday...summer is too short and I AM IN SUCH DEMAND THESE DAYS.....LOL.... I actually had to back out of commitments the week of our rally so I could be there...

Rap up meeting for the 2018 WNY rally will be held at Chandersons restaurant on August 5th at 2pm.... This will be the final meeting before the rally.. All committee members are asked to attend...

My garden used to be 80 ft. by 60 ft., over the last 5 years the deer would destroy it...went from a 4 ft. fence to a 8 ft. fence ......used metal stakes pounded into the ground, then PVC pipe over them to make a frame...covered it with nylon mesh and no more destructive deer problems...My garden is now 30 x 35....we still have up to 11 deer visit EVERY DAY but they cant get into the garden anymore....works great
