Becky had a meeting with the doctors on Sunday. If Bobby doesn't improve soon and if they can't get him off the ventilator they will have no choice but to place him in a nursing home. This information came from Amy who talked to Becky yesterday. There has been no improvement in Bobby's condition. According to Amy, its a waiting game.

Talked to Becky this morning....there has been no change in Bobby's status.. She is waiting to hear from the doctor on the results on his sputum tests to see what type of pneumonia he has and possible treatments... Bob is still unresponsive and unaware of his surroundings at this time. His lung is filling with fluid and they will attempt to drain it to give him some relief. Becky herself is doing "ok" but I'm sure she is stressed to the max. Her daughter is coming over today to help her with some tasks that needed to be taken care of. Please keep Bob and Becky in your prayers.

According to Becky, Bobby now has pneumonia in his other lung now...They took a sample of his sputum to see what type on pneumonia he has.. will keep everyone updated as I receive information...

Not much news on Bobby. They put in the trach yesterday and remains heavily sedated..

I think its a kinky sex thing with Robin like "teeth chattering monkey sex". She can explain what that means, I would blush if I had to tell you..

As of 1:23 pm today.... Bobby slept most of the day yesterday. They are taking an x ray of his right lung today to determine if there is any fluid there. They are working on Bobby to start breathing on his own again without the use of the ventilator.....update......1:56 pm..Becky states that they must put in a trake today because they cannot use a ventilator for more than 14 days...

From Becky@9;43 pm... ..When she arrived at the hospital today, it was the best sight imaginable.. Bob was off the ventilator ..he was talking but very confused and wanted to know how he got there and how long he was in the hospital...He told Becky that he loved her...Bobby's breathing was labored then and stated he was tired and wanted to go back to sleep. The nurses asked him if he wanted to go back on the ventilator and he said yes to them...Becky stated that she went from a high to a low emotionally today... Keep up those prayers for Bobby and Becky.

New up date on Bobby as of 7:47 pm tonight...Becky states that Bob breathed on his own for 7 hrs. today. He moved his head back and forth and wiggled his toes and was moving his arms.....keep up the prayers.....ps Becky is holding her own for now..

Bobby is being kept sedated at this time...He breathed on his own for 2 hrs. before having to go back on the ventilator.. when he opens his eyes , his blood pressure raises.. We are all praying for you Bobby, fight buddy fight...

Thanks for posting Carl.... I got the same message but was camping with my grandson and did not get a chance to update on his condition as of yet..Bobby is in my prayers every night as is many of my Venturider friends.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY " old timer " wishing you many more...!!

Just talked to Becky...Bobby is still in an induced coma. He had a ct scan and his upper chamber is still full of fluid and needed to be drained while the lower chamber is draining well. They are slowly cutting back on his 02 so that he can learn to breath on his own again . They have cut back on his meds and he is responding to voices and opening his eyes and squeezing Becky's hand when he hears her voice.. He is far from being out of danger but seems to be improving just a little... keep up they prayers. Becky sounds in good spirits and says Bobby is in the best care possible.

SHOTS FIRED.....!!!!!! ME ..! I'm not noted for telling STORIES, esp. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG stories.. But, I do think YOU resemble that remark Carl....​why are you causing trouble again ...?

We have campfires every night @ the rally site...lots of story telling and ragging on each other......

Just talked to Becky.....Bob is holding his own....they took more fluid from his lung and is responding to her voice....they are thinking of surgery but he is a weaken state as of now so they have to see if he improves....

Bobby took a turn for the worse. He had trouble breathing and his right lung continued to fill with fluid...He was placed in an induced coma and the fluid was drained. He is now in ICU..Please continue praying for his recovery..
