I bought a normal circular car oil drain pan. It fits under the bike with the bike on my Carbon One lift adapter. Get the lift adapter with legs. You won't regret it.

I've only had to replace one in three years. They are expensive. I've done a little reading on Blue tooth and it's entrance into the motorcycle market. The setup from J&M is expensive, but there are no wires from the bike to your helmet. http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products/product.asp?item=JMBT

Hmmm... a 20w50 Syn/blend makes the bike whine less? I'll have to test that. KitCarson was just posting about the engine whine and various oil blends. Maybe he really was onto something.

Also remember that the sealed chamber is has oxygen and fuel sealed up in there. Those two things with spark go boom.

I have to thank the Black Owl Trailer Service. I needed to trailer the bike back from our ride today. It turns out that today was the last ride of the season for us. We are thanking God every minute that it turned out just fine. At one point in our ride we had to pull off the road for an ambulance. There happened to be a very wide crack in the pavement, between the road and shoulder, that the motorcycle tires went into and made me almost lose control of the bike. I got back on the road and all was good (so I thought). About 40 miles later we stopped for food. I was standing back from the bike stretching from our long ride when I noticed a large gash in the sidewall of the rear tire. Upon further inspection I could see that a large hole had been torn though the outer layer of the tire's sidewall and I could see the inner layer of the tire. Had the tire blown out we could have had a severe accident. I called a few family members first and they could not come out to get us. I remembered that I Black Owl's phone number in my phone and I gave him a jingle. It turns out he was just waiting for a reason to go for a long drive. God was watching out for us. On the trip back my wife was saying that she always says a prayer before leaving on a bike trip and today she had forgotten. About half-way through our ride today she remember and prayed. Shortly after that is when the tire was damaged, but held until we stopped and could see it was damaged. It was pure chance that I saw the gash in the tire since most of the rear tire is cover by the rear fender and saddle bags. Only a small portion is visible while standing and looking at the tire. God was watching us. Thank you Russel for the rescue.

Most artists have accounts on ALL of the social networking websites. MySpace is the BIG one. It will take time for a startup to get up to that size and to be really competitive. ShoutLife is just under one year old. They done very well for the first year. This past summer they contacted me for my expertise in high traffic, high availability websites. They had some server issues that I helped them resolve. Since then they have been running smooth and fast.

What is clear is that most of the Democrats voted against English as the official language of our country and our Government. The second amendment the Democrats voted in favor of was a fluff piece that makes it look like they voted for the English language while at the same time they nullified English as the official language. Anyone voting against this amendment could be accused by Democrats as being un-American. Typical Democrat double speak designed to confuse and pacify those that disagree with them. There are a few Republicans that are really Democrats that should be voted out of office at the next election. I'll do my part in that effort. This is what happens in our House and Senate everyday these people are in session. It is truly sad that one party is looking to protect or regain it's own power instead of doing what is best for our country. Wilgeno.com

But as a good parent do you have a MySpace account so you can make sure your kids don't have one that use from somewhere else?

It's going to be a long winter and there isn't even any snow on the ground around here. :snow2::snow2::snow2:

I know many here are Christians and have children. Myspace is way too nasty for unsafe for kids and as an adult I just don't like Myspace. http://www.shoutlife.com is a free Christian owned and operated social networking / community website. I met with the owners this summer and found them to be very nice guys. The whole thing is pretty much family owned and operated. (a couple of brothers, brother-in-law and their spouses.) They monitor all pictures and posts. Give them a shout.

If he was, he would have just lied about everything. Some of US do believe that Honor and Integrity are still good things.

They responded. Hell must have frozen over.

Apple has a whole new line of iPods they just released including a 120Gb version and the new iPod Touch (iPhone with out the phone). Most phones are not going to come close to the storage space to hold the number of MP3's that the iPod holds. Most people change cell phones much more often than they change MP3 players. Most iPods are getting smaller while increasing storage space. Many people like myself do not like the gadget phones. I just want to talk with my phone. The iPod is still better than any other mp3 player on the market.

I just saw this bike show up in the forums random picture banner. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=2671 It belongs to BBrune. Not sure who he is really, but his RSV sure stands out. I kinda like it.

I tried that once - no one played along. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1831 Your more than welcome to add your favorite places and bring this back to life.

I don't believe him. We stopped over at Owl's Nest on the Mountain (his home) Saturday afternoon and both bikes were in his driveway in pieces.

I'm looking for stock exhaust...cheap
juggler replied to juggler's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Ok, for now I am going to try this re-packing trick. Thanks for the help Gary. And thanks for the offers Tartan and kbran. I'll experiment with this repacking first. -
Which brand mp3 player? If it's an iPod then iTunes is your best deal (almost). For deals on CD's, I am using yourmusic.com. It's a music club that charges 6.99 per month and with that you get one cd per month with no shipping fees. You can also order more cd's for 6.99 per cd. I am actually now limiting my iTunes purchases in favor of getting full CD's.

Cool toy. I had a Yamaha 125 3-wheeler. You gotta be careful on those things. They can be real tippy at times. Mine tumbled a few times. I think my favorite thing was hill climbing. Getting up speed and running up a 70º sand pit wall was a blast. Falling off the wall wasn't so much fun, but it happens and when your 16 you bounce better.

Yeah, but Dynos and GPS don't read fast. KWTrains had his dyno'd at 127. Granted there isn't any wind resistance on the dyno so the speed isn't true road condition speed. Stardbog had his GPS reading 117 Mph. That is true road conditions.

Now that is something I would like to do. I have do desire to find top speed on the highway. So far I like living.
