Or that the person in the photo was definitely NOT Jack!

Excellent shooting!!!! The buck in the left of your photo (your right side) has the same size rack as my first buck that I shot a few years ago.

Ok, I am sort of an expert in dropping and standing up an RSV. I've done it 3 times, each time I was pretty much at a stop and dead tired. I normally do not have any problem returning the bike to an upright position when it gets off center when I'm not tired. Each time the bike went down on the guards gently. I would recommend getting the wrap around saddle bag guards also. Two of the three times I stood the bike up on my own with no problems. I just reached down and grabbed the passenger grab bars and lifted. The third time I was at the Venture Inn up north and everyone was watching. So I let them pick it up. I mean, why work when I can others work for me? The RSV is easy to stand back up.

Girl, there has got to be a better job out there with your name one it. On your off days I would be doing nothing but job hunting. Then upon accepting your new job fax your resignation from your new employer on company letterhead after not showing up for three days. Ok, maybe I wouldn't burn the bridge that bad, but get a new job.

Read my post above about the owners manual saying to stay clear of chemical additives. My guess is Slick 50 falls in that category and will make your clutch very slick as well.
-
He obviously used the wrong synthetic. I've run Amsoil all this year with no problems. The only time my clutch slipped is when I made the mistake of putting car oil in with friction modifiers. That made my old weak clutch fail real fast. I rebuilt the clutch and put in motorcycle specific Amsoil and had no problems.
-
There is so much that is wrong with that statement. This is straight from the owners manual. "In order to prevent clutch slippage (since the engine oil lubricates the clutch), do not mix any chemical additives. Do not use oils with a diesel specification of "CD" or oils of a higher quality than specified. In addition do not use oils labeled "Energy Conserving II" or higher." Most of the car oils I've seen are the Energy Conserving type oils. These WILL cause clutch slippage. The Amsoil motorcycle synthetic worked great for me this past year.

That's what you think. The next time you call to order they will check the caller id and won't pickup the phone. I have never tried to return anything to New Enough (I test my gear while sitting on the bike ). It is nice to know they handle returns and re-returns fast and painlessly. :rotfl::rotfl:

I bought my pillow top seats from them last spring. I ordered them online and the seats arrived ahead of schedule a week later. Their prices are always great and they only charged $21 to ship the seats to St. Paul from Seattle. I'll be ordering items from them in the future. I only wish I was close enough to them to have them service my bike.

Maybe a shotgun under the covers? Not sure. An uncle of mine has M.S. and it has advanced to such a state where I don't think he could handle a gun anymore even though he used to be a police officer.

I've written up reviews for the gear I've bought over the past couple of years and posted them in the Riding Gear form. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=32 Tourmaster Venture Air http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12342 Tourmaster Caliber Riding Pants http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2337 REVIEW of my MOSSI Jacket http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=205 And there are a few others in there I'm sure.

The winning powerball numbers. I'll take care of the rest from there.

I've seen pics of those before. Those type of trikes look like they would flip over backwards real fast.
-
I also run the K&N air filters. No re-jetting has been required. The bike runs fine.

I find it interesting that Sport and Super Sport bikes account for only 14% of the registered bikes, but they account for 34% for the deaths in 2000. And in 2005 Sport and SuperSport bikes make up 16% of the bikes and 38% of the deaths. This group of bikers suffer the highest death rate of any of the other groups. I was reading several NHSTA reports the other day and found that about 55% of motorcycle fatalities were people WEARING their helmets. They did not break the deaths down by helmet type. So more bikers died wearing helmets than not wearing helmets.

Why should we encourage continued Governmental abuse and overreach? We should repeal the seat belt laws also. I do not want nor need my Government to be my Nanny.

Uh, would you be thinking of the Venture Inn Rally and Pig Roast. I know we changed names from last year (Pork in the Pines). I'm not sure why they changes the name, but the name does have other meaning if ya know what I mean. Nudg, nudg, wink wink. Anyways, thanks for the new feature. I'm not sure it's a good idea. IMHO. Some people consider meets to be brunch with another VR member every Sunday. Others are counting the annual rallies.

BTW: I'll be replacing my Dunlop 404's this spring. I was able to put about 12,000 miles on them before I hit a road hazard and trashed the rear tire sidewall. I'm not sure why others are getting so many mile less with their Dunlops.

That looks nice on their customized Stratoliner. I really would like one of those Stratoliners as an around town cruiser.

Somewhere is all the posts I missed that you decided to start living smoke free. Congrats!!! When ever the craving gets too bad just go to Dairy Queen!

Would a full helmet have made any difference?
juggler replied to Ladyrider's topic in Safety and Education
Ditto on what Sarges and Gold Rush said. The "what if"s are more painful than the loss of Tom. People have died with head injuries while wearing a full face helmet. NO ONE can say for sure if the full face helmet would have saved his life. Do you feel that? We're all hugging you Sherry. -
Payment sent a few minutes ago. Plus a little more to cover those nasty PayPal Fees.

Somehow I doubt they will ever pay. The so-called Rev Phelps is dis-bared attorney and has various legal connections in his so-called church (CULT). They will most likely appeal. However, this is a good first step at getting this guy and his family away from the grieving families of our fallen heroes.
