Ive been using hockey pucks for years, however, you have to cut a pie shaped piece out of one puck to clear the side stand switch. I also found that the rubber runners on the jack still hit the motor. What I did was to cut the center strip out and leave the four corners on. It gives about 1/4" more clearance.

I personally never felt comfortable riding 2 abreast. I prefer the staggered riding position with the lead bike in the left of the lane. However, I dont think it should be illegal to ride 2 abreast either. Maybe when riding through Virginia as a group, we should all spread out and occupy all lanes to really make it safe!!

Me and a few of my buddies may be riding down to West Palm Beach to see the Barrett-Jackson auction on the 29th of March and leaving on the 30th. Maybe we can get together with some of the local VR members down there for a M&E? Its not set in stone yet as some of my friends are waiting to see if they can get off of work. Im already approved, so...lol. Any of you locals want to ride down too?? Right now im the only Venture among all the Harleys and I already told them that they wont be able to keep up with me..

Actually, thats a gasoline deflector, supposed to be designed to draw gas away from the hot engine should you overfill or the tank springs a leak while it on its sidestand. That is unless 'Ol Eck has bladder control issues:whistling: -
Check out the HJC AC-2 or AC-3 models. One is a 3/4 and one is a half. I have the 1/2 model and love it.

I bought the same set-up from NoPork.com Also went with the Led Tail light and clear lens. I still havent installed it yet..just need some precious time.....

The weather, which has been beautiful here in the SE for the last few weeks is becoming more like it should be in Jan. Temps here this weekend will hit the 20's and and further north, like in SC, NC, etc, will have temps in the lower 20's with freezing rain/ice. We already had several cancellations and I sure dont want to see anyone have an incident while trying to come her in bad weather. I will reschedule this when it warms up a bit. The original intent was to help me build a deck, but since I hired someone to put down concrete pavers instead, we just decided to make it a regular type of M&E. I sure do appreciate everyone who was willing to help with this project and like I said, I will host something here at the house when the temps warm up a bit.
