    Nathan, you might want to consider finding an old fender, prepping it and spraying it. This way you can make all the mistakes you want on the fender so that when you are ready to paint your bike, at least you will be somewhat proficient at it.

    You can take the shield to a plexiglass shop with your markings and let them cut it for you. Im sure they will make a nicer edge. When I cut my 1st gen shield down I finished the edge with a finishing sander. Still didnt look like a nice finished edge like a shop would do.

    OK, for those of you Non-conservation freaks.......I plugged my AIS 4 years ago without any problems. And I still believe that MY personal Carbon Footprint (passing gas) leaves much more than the RSV's expelled exhaust........:rotfl: All kidding aside. If you go to a larger auto parts store, there is an aisle that contains carded auto parts called HELP! Its usually packed in a carded red sealed package. The HELP! section carries small and hard to find OEM parts. Look for 5/8" water pump and/or heater hose caps. Those caps are used to block off those particular orfices. The outside diameter is 3/4 and fits perfectly inside the AIS hose. I had to "lube" the cap with liquid soap to get it to fit inside the hose.

    Just an update..... The pending charges finally went down to the posted charges section of my bank statement. They also went from about 600.00 to 200.00 in charges and fees. Much better..... Now the bank will let me file a dispute and I should have all of my money returned within a week. Whew.....New CC also on the way.

    Im thinking that he had them shipped via FedEx and was able to track the shipment online. Once it was delivered and left at my front door he would come by and grab the package and take off. Cops thought that was what he may have planned also. Too bad, we are both home during the day. I replaced the box with an empty box at my front door and im waiting to see if someone tries to take it. I just hope he tries to retrieve it.....

    So, I check my bank statement online and see im 600.00 negative in my checking acct. Someone has so graciously ordered new cell phones using my bank card. They arrived today!! 2 new Blackberry Curves. Nice, only thing the fool used his name on the order. Police came and took the package as "fruits of a crime". Had the card cancelled yesterday and am now waiting for the charges to go from pending to posted so the bank can launch an investigation and refund my money. I called the company he ordered it from and spoke to some moron in India, who tried to sell me some more phones after I told him this was a fraudulent order. Im hoping the detectives find this guy before I do....

    The Meet and Eat at my house is 9 days away. I need to know this weekend who is attending so I can plan ahead.
